Episode 1
In a world where life doesn't really matter, humanity has become a trade, and life has become a battle. WE ARE AT WAR.
Ahhhh, I screamed in pain, as one of the warriors pulled the chains, "Move it!" he shouted at the top of his voice. I wonder if we could go any faster; the chains were on our legs, and there was a very long roll of people. This could take forever. I felt like crying, but I had already cried my eyes out, and there were no more tears to come. We were all taken from our homes, our family, our loved ones, all gone in a blink of an eye, just like waters that flow away never to return again.
Zzzzzzz, a loud sound brought me back to reality. The ships are here. Oh, my poor mama... She must still be crying. Oh, my sweet innocent little Lomigo, what will he do? He must be asking Mama where I am, my little baby brother. At this moment, I prayed to all the 5 gods I know in my head to come and save me. I was still praying for this to be a dream, oh, if only it was.
Realization hit me when our chains were dragged brutally, like they were not attached to human legs. Haaaa, some people screamed, wailed, some cried. We were pulled into the ship, left in the darkness, to await what comes next. But who could blame them? We started this war.
For generations, the story has been told, passed down from one generation to another. Every breathing being on this planet knows the story, the story of the (TAIGARAINS) and their fire king.
Episode 2
Back centuries ago, the world was divided into 10 regions, which meant 10 countries, 10 tribes, and 10 traditions. Each country had its leader, and they all lived in peace. Nature gave us 5 elements to live on: water, air, metal, lightning, and fire. All the countries worked together to keep the nature elements safe, but greed and evil desires always consume mankind. The war started when the 10 kings felt like their land was too small, and they waged war over other countries.
That's how the fight began. Countless people were killed; pain and horror were the list of troubles we had. But something bigger happened: the elements were broken because of the war, and there was no more balance. Nature was forsaken, and life itself went into nothingness. Darkness was awakened. In the midst of this fight for power, each country wanted to have all the elements so their land would prosper. But only one succeeded: the Taigarains king of the first country.
He became so powerful that he took over the country; he made himself lord of the land. But at that time, there were only 5 countries left. In order for peace to reign, all other kings agreed to be humble, loyal, and submissive. But that was not all. It is said that on the night the Taigarains king took the elements, he only took fire and metal; the rest were missing.
But a shadow has appeared, and it speaks of a prophecy of a child who will be born with the remaining elements. It is said that this child will be the bringer of life and Redeemer of death.
Episode 3
And so, because of this prophecy, the king of the Taigarains comes and takes children every 20 years. Any child whose star looks brighter than normal will be taken from their home to their country to be kept under close watch. Because of the prophecy, this has been happening from the beginning of time till now, and still, no wonder child has been found. I wonder why we are suffering for someone's sins.
I was brought back to reality by a bright, blinding light. We are here, and yes, what I saw was truly heaven on earth. This has to be heaven. Bright light everywhere, tall towers, and beautiful houses. How can someone rumored to be a monster rule such a lovely country?
The ship landed, and we were pulled out. "Get them to the marking room," the guard shouted. "Marking room" - that rang a bell in my head. I was so scared, of course, they were going to mark us. All the slaves have markings. Why would our case be any different? We were soon taken to the part of the country that was not so beautiful. I guess there is hell in heaven. There was a dirty-looking stream. "Birth!" the guard shouted. "What?" Do they really expect us to birth like this? I mean, there were some males among us. We all stood still, not understanding what they were expecting us to do.
The guards soon looked at us furiously, then they brought out their whips. They did not have to speak twice as they started flogging us. I felt pain as the whip dug through my skin. We all ran helter-skelter. "Birth!" they shouted.
Episode 4
We were naked in front of many guards and males, and they derived pleasure from watching us. How did I end up here? How could my star look brighter than normal? My mother and I had been farmers all our lives. Papa died when Mama gave birth to Lomigo. At least we weren't slaves, but we weren't nobles either. Of all people, why me? I looked around me, and it was clear that they weren't looking for any special child; they were just taking poor people's children away from them. No noble child was among us. Even if a noble child was among us, they would just pay the guards money to let their child go.
"Move!" shouted one of the guards. We were done "birthing," but my hand hurt from the wound I got from the whip. We weren't given clothes to wear. We were more than fifty or so, and to the look of it, we all seemed to be around 16 to 18 years old. We were walking into a shabby-looking hut that seemed isolated from other houses. I could hear screams of people. Now, the real fear began, as we all shivered in fear.
Far away from the isolated hut, there was a very tall, beautiful mansion. In one of the rooms lay the king. An old but beautiful-looking woman walked in. "What do you think you are doing, son?" King Tregon looked at his mother, wondering what she wanted. "Mother, what is it you want?" he said, standing up from his bed lazily. Queen Terisa looked at her son. "Do you realize that the slaves have been brought? You should go show yourself and see if you can find any sign of the prophecy child."
Episode 5
Again with this so-called prophecy child. Right from when I was a child, my mother and father have always talked about the so-called wonder child who is going to come one day and take everything our so-called ancestors worked for. I wonder when this torment will end. I lost the joy of childhood because of this so-called prophecy child. If there's anything I have for the so-called prophecy child, it's hate. I have trained and trained and waited for this so-called prophecy child to come and fight me. And now I'm beginning to wonder if this so-called prophecy is true. Because just like me, my father and the father before his father have all trained and waited for this so-called prophecy child to come, and it never came. I am the king of a strong kingdom; why should I be scared of something we don't know if it will even come?
"Son," Queen Terisa began to wonder when her son would change. "Go see your father; he will like to talk to you." King Tregon walked out of his room angrily. Yes, he is the king, but his life is pretty much in control of his parents and the elders of the high table.
King Tregon walked to the east part of the palace. Everyone walked quickly and silently; no one wanted to offend the king's father. I took a deep breath and walked into my father's chamber. "Evening, Father," I said. Lord Trazzy looked at his son with a smile. "Mother said to come see you," King Tregon said. "So, the slaves have been brought home; have you checked?"
