Chapter 21 Castien had dozed off as they awaited Lain’s return. He woke with a start when he felt a hand on his shoulder and saw Theirn’s worried dark green eyes as the lad whispered, “Someone approaches.” With a nod Castien was on his feet, his sword held ready in his hand.
