Chapter 9 Two days after their return to Daeron’s Keep the final plans had been formulated to overthrow the Lord and his followers. In spite of their strained beginnings Lathron and Castien were becoming friends of a sort. Theirn on the other hand wanted nothing to do with him. He told Castien in confidence that despite the truth spell Lathron had been under he did not trust a word the human said. “He is a charlatan,” he pronounced and nothing would change his mind.
