Xavier's POV

Shawn stop putting me on choke hold when we heard Greta asked that. We both look at Greta like she have 2 heads.

"Gran!!" Hunter exclaimed only to be hit on the head.

Greta put her hand on her waist "Shush child. How many time did I told you not to call me by that name. And beside I'm trying to set you up with a decent girl here"

Hunter rub the back of his head where Greta hit him. The cloth Scarlett use to clean the dirt on her skin was on the floor. She look at Greta dumbfounded. Shawn and the other (Ace and Arthur) was staring wide eyes at Greta. No doubt taken aback by her question.

"I'm sorry. What?" Scarlett asked. Like she heard something wrong.

"I'm asking you if you want to marry my Hunter" sitting beside Scarlett Greta added "I always worried if Hunter will get a girl to take care of himself because he always acting all cold toward any girl. But now with you appear...it the first time I saw Hunter treating girl kindly and taking care of her. I even thought that he a gay at one time" Greta sigh while shaking her head.

"Hey" Hunter voice in the background. "All the girls that I meet is either a spoil brat or just want to be with me because of my popularity in Black Fang".

Greta ignored what Hunter said "It was a good chance for me to see my great grandson" she winked.

I stand and dust myself. I start to walk to Scarlett but what Shawn said make me stop on my track.

"Sorry to said this but princess will be marrying me" Shawn puff his chest.

That 4 eyes bastard "I don't think so p*****t 4 eyes. The one that mistress will be marrying is me" I kissed the top of Scarlett's head.

"Wait what? Mistress? Princess? What kind of relationship you guy're having here actually?" Ace asked but I guess everyone pretend to act oblivious or they didn't heard him. I guess the first.

Without warning Shawn gripped my collar and bring our forehead together. "I didn't heard what you said earlier. Mind telling me again" he growl lowly.

"I say 'The one that mistress will be marrying is me'. You have problem with it?" I emphasized what I said earlier.

Guess Shawn didn't like my answer because his grip become more firm. On reflect I grab his collar in return.

"Cut it out guys" Arthur try to stop us.

We ignored him. "Poor princess if she have to marry creepy stalker like you" he smirk.

"But I think being marry to a p*****t is more unfortunate. I can't even imagine what a p*****t like you would do to her once she married you" I said mock horror.

He c****d his eyebrow "Did you read newspaper and magazine?" before I could answer his question he butt in "Majority woman said that p*****t guys is the most romantic type".

Before I can come up with comeback, of us was hit by a broom.

"She will not marry any of you guys because she will marry my grandson" Greta huff and continue to hit us. For an old lady, her hit hurt like hell.

"Gran-I mean Greta please stop it already. Don't hit my friends like that" Hunter attempt to stop Greta.

Luckily Greta stop hitting us. I quickly ran to Scarlett and hug her from the side.

"Mistress,Greta's hit hurt me".

"Do you want me to check it for you?" my eyes glint with excitement.

"Can I asked you to kiss it better?" pouting to add more effect.

"Where it is?" I show my palm. It didn't hurt or anything, I just want Scarlett's affection.

She kiss my palm, playing along with me. I poked my arm,then she kiss it. I was happy that she playing along with me. She kissed my left cheek as I point at it. Lastly I touch the corner of my lips. Scarlett lean closer, but before anything could happen I was push over. I fall flat on my face. Luckily I didn't wear glasses or they would be shattered to pieces.

I turned around to find the culprit. "Who the f**k did that?".

Both Arthur and Ace shaking their head saying they are innocent. Hunter standing quite far away from me, so he is not the culprit. Greta was standing beside Arthur so I didn't think so. Leaving us with Shawn. Surprise but maybe not, Shawn was grinning like a madman.

"Are you okay creepy stalker?" he mocking. I rolled my eyes and stand on my feet.

"Very funny p*****t 4 eyes".

"Stop it guys. You are acting like a kid" Ace stand between us. Holding his hand up to our chest stopping us from advancing.

Arthur join Ace convincing us to stop fighting. Although we just staring at each other right now. "Please settle this like an adult".

Both of us huffed and turning around. Scarlett asked us to sit. Without giving any chance to Shawn I quickly Sat on her right side. Greta has sat on her left side. Shawn narrowed his eyes but I just smirk.

Someone nudge my arm "Behave Xavier" I gave her an innocent smile. The other sat on the other chair and bench beside us.

"Why did people call you the loser when you are that strong?" someone blurt out. Which was Arthur. Thanks Arthur,we as her team didn't even know about that and want to know too.

She shrug "I actually don't even know about that. The name just kinda stuck I guess".

Watching her fight earlier make me awe. She was strong, graceful and beautiful. But she make me worry. Didn't she think about her well been? Her safety? When she said that she always work alone when we first meet, I have my doubt. It was impossible for someone as small as her to fight alone. But I was prove wrong when she beaten me and today event with on own eyes.

She fight against 2-no 3 hell creature alone. But her last move was kinda cool. Not many use to burn the monster to ashes but she did it. I like the way the petals surrounding her. It was like a painting.

"Seriously?!!" Ace exclaimed. Scarlett just nod her head.

"Then why didn't you show your power to them. They won't ever call you the loser again" Hunter reasoning with Scarlett.

"It doesn't matter now. Beside I like it this way".

We all were confused when she said that. "What do you mean?" I say.

"I'm not good with crowd. I like to be alone" she smile sadly. I want to wipe those expression from her face.

No one say anything. I know that Scarlett don't want to discuss that thing any further. I want to know more but I respect her decision.

"Urm,so...your kick back there...do you learn martial art or something?" I don't know why Ace keep fidgeting in his seat.

"Yeah I learn mix martial art".

I didn't expect that "You have your weapon why learn MMA?" it's not that I disagree she learn that. But I just want to know, I think I can guess the reason why.

"Because of special circumstances I always have to stay on my guard. There is some place that I can't just drew my scythe out at will. So Rei-".

"Rei as Director Rei" Arthur said in disbelief.

"Err yeah".

"So the higher up you meant is Director Rei?" I nodded. Ace mouth was open.

"So do you want me to continue my story or..." Scarlett trailed off. We all nodded our head for Scarlett to continue her story. "So you see, Rei make me choose between having at least 5 bodyguard 24/7 or learning martial art. Because I hate having people protect me, I decide to learn martial art since I was 10. So you have it".

I know the special circumstances is about the hell creatures attraction of her or maybe because of something else.

Greta embrace Scarlett in a hug "You have been through a lot Scarlett".

"Wow you such a kick ass girl" he look at her with adoration. Ace been talkative with Scarlett and I don't like it. Don't get me wrong. Usually Ace talk but he always talk with sarcasm but he speaking calmly with Scarlett...I don't like every seconds of it. "By the way thanks for saving me before" be rub the back of his neck.

"No biggie. Losing life in front of me is not in my principle so it's okay".

All the guys look at Scarlett awestruck when she smile innocently like that. It was silent. I don't know for how long.

But Shawn have to be Shawn and open his big mouth. "Creepy stalker please don't look at my princess like that course you will look more creeper".

"Oh please. I know you look at my mistress with your p*****t eyes. I don't want to know what your p*****t mind are thinking right now" I sighed loudly.

Someone clear their throat snapping me from throwing dagger with my eyes at Shawn while he doing the same.

"Urm...I'm okay now. So can we finish our shopping. I can't wait to take shower" Scarlett slowly stand up. "Greta thanks for the hospitality I'll be going now. I'm sorry I can't spent more time with you but I promise to make it up to you".

"Oh it's okay. We'll definitely spend time together".

We all hugged Greta before walking out and saying our goodbye at Arthur and Ace. We walk to Hunter's car but was stop when Ace yelling Scarlett's name.

Ace ran to us and held both of Scarlett's hand. "I want to be your fan. I want to support you. I also think I'm falling in love with you".

That did it. I snap. I pull Scarlett away from Ace and make her go inside the car. She was still stunned from Ace's confession.

After we all are inside the car, Hunter quickly drive.

"Nothing happen back there" I said. Both Hunter and Shawn agree with me.

We buy Bennett's groceries and Luca's pet fish in a brief. No one said anything relate to what just happen at Greta's shop. When we arrived home Bennett greeted us on the front door.

"So anything interesting happen?" he smile cheerfully.
