»♣« Tredici: Killing Them

Scarlett's POV

"My name is Scarlett Drachen. I'm one of the Black Ops agent. Remember my name. Hear me the power of cyclone. Lend me thee power. The wind as sharp as blade. Cut down all the obstacles blocking my path" when I swing the scythe red's limp fall to the ground and it's body split to half. Black's hair fall to the ground,she fall to her knee because I cut her legs off.

"My hair!!" black screech touching her hairless head. My ear drum almost burst from her screeched. "You'll pay. b***h". Her hair regenerated and she start attacking me.

I dodge and continue to cut her hair off. I was so focus on her that I didn't realize about red until it was too late.

"Gotcha b***h" he smirked as he grip my hoodie making me fall to the ground with a thud.

I was in shock but I managed to move my head to the side. The place where my head once are was pierce by Black's hair. That was a close call. I sighed in relieved but my relieve was cut short when I heard black voice.

"Don't you think you are save yet girl" she was so close to me. I can smell her horrible breath. Smell of dead meat. I want to said eww but I don't to act like a child so I'll suck it up. Holding my breath from breathing her breath was a good idea.

I have to move away. Black's hair pierced the arm of my sweater. I can't move my right hand because of that. When I fell to the ground I release my grip on the scythe, it was near me but I can't reach it. I saw black raised her hair, signaling that she was about to attack me. But before she can do anything, I kick her in the gut.

She stumble back with a grunt. Because of her hair, I still stuck to the ground. I rip my sweater sleeve off. Laying like that make me feel vulnerable to be attack, I can't let that happen. Wearing the ripped sweater make me uncomfortable without the other sleeve, so I tossed it. Right now I only wear loss grey tank top with number 1 at the middle and black yoga pant.

I quickly ran to my scythe and grab it. Without wasting any second I make a distance between red and black.

"I thought you only have ice kind of power" red look at me with hunger. I don't even know either can't wait to eat me or other things.

"Well you thought wrong. True to be told I expecting more from you guys because I can feel your power. But maybe I was wrong about you guys. You are just wasting my time" I said roughly. They are strong but I can just said that. If only I turned to Crimson mood I can handle them in a matter of seconds. But luck was not on my side right now.

Black attack me again with her hair "You are such an arrogant girl. But fear no more I'll show you that we are worth your time"

I dodge but I also have to blocked red's claws at the same time. While still fighting with them, I saw from the corner of my eyes that the guys have defeated 2 out of 5 green monsters. I quickly ran near them.

"I'll not let you go that easily" red gripped my right leg.

I use both my hands to balance myself before falling to the ground. Using my hand as a momentum I push myself to the air. In a meantime I slice red's hand that was holding my legs in the process. Removing myself from any restrain. I shook my leg that still have red gripping hand. I ran to their direction.

In a second I was besides them. "Are you okay mistress?" Xavier asked while stabbing the monster through his chest using is metal rod.

I may forget to tell you this, but you can also kill the hell creature without burning them to ashes by stabbing all their hearts. They have more than one that's why they can keep regenerate, even when you have slice them to pieces they can still come out unharmed. Normal or low rank monster have only 2 hearts. The higher the monsters rank the more heart they have.

I hate using that method because it took sometime to located where the other heart is. Their hearts is not always on its chest. For me burning them to ashes are a lot more faster way and time saving.

"I'm okay. Hunter" I look at Hunter, who is binding one of the monsters. He look at me. I take that as a cue for me to continue. "Did Greta have red rose here?".

Because Hunter was giving me his attention the monsters was loss from Hunter's string. I know it was my fault so I cut both his hand before he can touch a single hair on Hunter's head.

"You have an opening girl" black take that moment when I was distracted to hit me and make me hit the tree behind me.

My back hurt because the of the tree bark digging to my skin and the air was knocked out of my lung. Without giving me a seconds to breath, Red lunged at me. I quickly stand on my feet, just in time to dodge Red's claws.

"You ask them to pay attention for their opponent. But you are brave enough to turn your head away from us" Red said looking at his black razor claws.

"I didn't have to focus to beat you guys up" I am rolled my stiff shoulder. I have dirt all over my body. I need to get a shower after this.

"We have it here!!" Hunter yell answering my previous question.

I move as closed as I can to him. "Can you take a rose for me?".

Still defending myself from black's and red's attack. It doesn't matter how many time I cut them,their limp always regenerates. It kinda annoying.

"But I need to kill this monster" referring at the monster that was in front of him.

"I'll handle it for you" I jump when black try to grab my legs.

"But you are still handling the two monsters" he tried to argued.

"Just go Hunter. I'll managed myself" I urged him to go.

"But-" he was about to argue but I gave him a sharp looks.

He look at me for a second and ran inside the botanical garden while giving me a second glance.

"Wow you have gut to ignored us like that girl" black pouted. Her attack become more and more aggressive but I still manage to defend myself from getting any injured.

From the corner of my eyes I saw Red charging at me. I didn't hesitate to beheaded him. But him being the hell monster can still move without his head just like a cockroach. When I saw the monster that was tied up by Hunter move I quickly swing my scythe, making sure I didn't hurt any of the guys while slicing the monster. The string that bind the monster was cut in the process.

I'm still focus defeating the monster that its make me jump when I heard Hunter yelling "I got it Scarlett!!".

I dash toward Hunter direction, coming face to face with him. "Thanks Hunter" I kiss his cheek and took the rose from his hand before turning around. "Guys stand back" I said loud enough for the guys to heard me. They want to argue but I just send them my best glared. They shut up and do as I said.

"Oh, look. The girl want to show us some magic trick" black taunting me.

The other monster try to attack us but I slice them before they could reach us.

"I can't wait to see the magic trick. You can cut or freeze us all you want but we can still regenerate ourselves in the end" Red threw a tree at me.

I just cut it into half before cutting red hands off. "Oh don't worry this is not some petite spell. I'll show you how to feel regret for going against me" I didn't look at the guys directly but I said it to them "Please watch my back".

"What are you going to do Scarlett?" Arthur asked.

"Did you have a death wish or something? If something happen to you I'll not be responsible, understood" Ace huff and crossed his arm over his chest.

I smirked "You just need to wait and see for yourself Arthur. Don't worry Ace, I'll take full responsible to what happen to myself".

"Be careful Princess!!" Shawn shout.

I just give him a smile before turning around to face all the monster. They have regroup and standing in front of me. Only 4 remains.

"Let see what are you make of girl" They all attack me at once.

I jump away taking a petal from the rose and recited "With the power of Crimson Rose, I summoned thee, The Eternal Flame. I command thee to burn this monster flesh to ashes till its bone. Without leaving anything untouched". I pointed the rose petal between my finger to the monsters who was about to lunged at me. "Burn with thee mighty flame the things that related this monster to this human realm".

Landing to the ground, closing my eyes I kiss the petal before blowing it away. In second it multiples itself and I was surround by the rose petals.

"What the f**k is this?!" Ace exclaimed looking around.

The petals start to surrounding the monsters. But before they could do anything,they was eating by the flame slowly. I can heard screams of pain from the monsters. But I can't give them sympathy.

"I'll get my revenge girl!!" black declared over the scream of pain. She give me a last glared before her face turn to ashes.

The place turn quiet after the monster burn to ash. Suddenly I was embrace by someone.

"You make me worry sick back there mistress" Xavier kiss the back of my head. "I might-".

Shawn cut him off by kicking Xavier off me "Oh, princess I thought my heart was going to burst when you said you want to handle it alone" he rubbed our cheek together just like a cat. "Maybe I sho-".

Xavier throw Shawn away from me and start they usual fight. I dust myself from the dirt. I didn't do much. Before I could take one step forward I fall to the ground. The guys all rush to me like a moth to a flame

Hunter check all over my body for any injured "Did you hurt anywhere?" concern clearly in his voice.

"I don't think it was serious. I think I just lost my lower body strength" I can barely feel my legs right now.

"I should carry you inside" Hunter carry me inside with the other protest behind him. He put me on one of the bench before walking away. I don't know where he is going.

"Are you feeling okay now princess?" Shawn look at me.

"I was kinda feeling thirsty. So, can you..." before I could even finish, both Xavier and Shawn ran where Hunter goes.

It turned quiet with just me, Arthur and Ace there "So...is that true that your name is Scarlett Drachen?" Arthur asked. I just nodded my head. I don't have any reason to be lying.

"The loser?! You can't be her. You are so strong" Ace exclaimed walking around while muttering something I didn't hear.

Arthur just look at me in awe. Okay... I don't know why he looking at me like that.

"Mistress I have your water bottle" Xavier said in singsong.

I drank the water. Xavier was alone "Where is Shawn? I thought he go with you earlier?".

"I don't know what you are talking about mistress" Xavier whistling.

I c****d my eyebrow. Hunter later come with Greta, Shawn and wet cloth. Shawn ran to Xavier and hit him on the head. Greta asked me if I was okay and ask me...more like demanding me to tell her what happen. I use the wet cloth to clean dirt from my skin.

"Wow you are strong. Want to marry Hunter?" Greta wiggling her eyebrows. Hunter look at Greta wide eyes.
