Chapter 29 Doyle Buffeted by icy winds as he trod back to his car, Doyle focused his thoughts on the case in an attempt to ignore the cold. He considered how to approach Owen, what he should ask, what he should look for in the man’s answers. Before he knew it, he’d reached his car and wasn’t frozen solid. He counted that as a good thing. He would never get used to this kind of weather, even though he’d grown up in the Philly burbs where it tended to be slightly colder if he could even imagine that. Gripping the steering wheel, Doyle took a few deep breaths to steady himself. This was his first time behind the wheel since he’d been attacked.
