Chapter Three

685 Words
A problem arose at the casino where the brothers were. "Sir! You need to pay now — why do you gamble if you don’t even know how to play?" the casino manager said angrily, pointing at them. But the brothers spoke calmly and tried to make a deal with the manager, who refused their request to pay the debt on their next visit. Because of the commotion, Gerald’s group couldn’t help but hear and see them. So he called the manager over. "What the hell is going on over there? Who are they?" Gerald asked the manager. "They’re the two sons of Mr. Sebastian Fuentebella," the manager only replied. While Gerald and the manager talked, Mark received a message from Jazmine. It was to inform them that they’d be coming back tomorrow — Christian almost shouted when they read it. "Call them. I want to talk to them," Mathew ordered the manager. The manager immediately called the Fuentebella brothers to bring them before Mathew. "Hello, sir. My name is Mark, and this is my brother... Christian," he introduced them, as they stared at the two men in front of them. Christian almost stumbled when he noticed Mathew staring at him — a gaze that looked like he’d devour him whole. His presence was so intense that just one look made you want to kneel before him. Mathew crossed his legs and glanced at the siblings again. "If you’re going to gamble at a casino, you should bring a large amount of money and know how to play. But based on what’s happening now.... it’s the complete opposite. You both don’t know how to play, and the worst part is... no money at all," he said with a slight laugh. The brothers were terrified of Mathew’s smile — they knew he was a psychopath. They also knew the man in front of them could kill them in an instant. But they still found the courage to talk to him about their marriage plan. "Sir, we heard you lend money," Mark said, his voice trembling. Mathew smiled at what he heard, because he already knew what question would come next. "Sometimes," he replied. "Then please, help us," Christian said. Gerald was stunned by what he heard. "Why don’t you tell your father? Instead of borrowing from him?" he asked, confused. The brothers shook their heads in unison and said their father couldn’t know what they’d done — he’d surely kill them. "If I help you, what will you use to pay me back? If Mr. Fuentebella mustn’t know about this," Mathew asked firmly. "Lend us some money to pay our casino debt... in exchange for our s-sister," Mark said, trembling. Mathew stopped drinking at Mark’s offer. It seemed one of the brothers had gone crazy enough to use their own sister as payment for a debt. "Oh... You’d borrow money and trade your sister for it? Your sister would be so hurt if she heard that," Mathew said, gritting his teeth. "We have a reason to do this," Mark said. "Okay... let’s sign a contract. I can use your sister as my s*x doll," he said, then laughed — a laugh worse than a demon’s. After signing the contract, Mathew repeated what he was giving the brothers in exchange for their sister. "500,000 in cash, a job for both of you where you’ll often see your sister, a house, and protection from your own father. These are the terms you offered, and I’m giving you all of this. Now let’s hear my terms. Gerald, read them," Mathew said, rolling a small ball in his hand. "These are the terms and conditions of Mathew’s contract. First... Michelle will live in Mathew’s house. Second... of course, they will get married... because he needs a wife. Third... they can have romantic moments — he needs to show his parents and everyone that they’re truly married... hay... poor girl. Fourth... he can do anything he wants with Michelle, and to be fair... Michelle can do anything she wants with Mathew. That’s it," Gerald explained, laughing as he laid out Mathew’s terms.
