Murderous Freinds

I wake up the morning of Semptember 17th thinking it would be the same as every other boring day. I get up get ready for work and walk to the office until I hear a high pitched scream coming from inside one of the apartments. I run over and knock on the door where I am met by silence until I hear an unsettling bone crunching coming from the other side of the door. I listen for a moment more before I look down seeing the dark crimson blood coming out from under to door. I step back horrified and hit the other wall of the hallway before I cover my mouth with one hand the other shaking as I grab my phone calling the emergency line. I let it ring praying for someone to anwser and once they do I let out a breath I didn't know I had kept in. before I could anwser I hear the operator let out a shrill scream before I hear a growl and crunch then the line goes dead. I look up as I hear the door infront of my creak open slowly making me step away slowly praying I don't make any noise. I almost make it back to my door before my phone rings and multiple doors get ripped from there hinges making me run to my room catching glimpses of these monsters. I get inside my apartment and lock the door before I here I hear scratching at the door like claws on wood. I run to grab anything I can to block the door from the pounding and scratching. Finding a chair I put it under the handle and start packing a backpack with clothes food and anything close to a weapon. so much for a normal day. I grab jackets covering up in layers before I look out the window. out of the window I see the ground covered in blood hot thick dark red blood. The sight nauseated me but not as much as the screams I could hear through the walls. the creatures were climbing the sides of buildings clawing at bricks with inhuman strength. I watch as one breaks the window of an apartment across the street the young daughter with her dad being eaten alive bones crunching in the jaws of that monster. It's laugh was far worse then demonic as the blood coated it's fur. I slide down the wall curling up as I cover my ears trying to block out any of the noises now wishing they would either break the door down and kill me or go away and leave us all alone. I keep ky eyes squeezed shut my legs pulled close to my chest as I keep my ears covered for what feels like hours the air hot by the time I look outside again. the cries have died down for now and the streets look clear now but the blood oh the blood it looks like a m******e.
