Cassandra's POV
“Is everything okay?” I waited for a reply from him but instead Adrian smiled and looked me in the eye.
“I am proud of you,” he said. I never saw that coming, Adrian continued, “I have missed you too.”
“I know you do.” I replied. I had been really busy since I started medical school. Sometimes I finished classes for the day and joined Sir Arlo in his treatment. Managing both lessons wasn’t easy for me, Adrian was basically not too available as well but he supported me in all areas that he could. Mother helped me take care of the babies, that was the biggest relief for me.
“Please join me for a walk,” he pleaded, pointing his hands towards the door for us to exit the room, my babies were with his mother so I was free to go for a stroll with him.
