Episode 19 Gallows built

Zattu went out that day, happy with full confident in himself. But seeing Matthan at the King's gate and still observed that he neither rose or showed fear in his presence, he was filled with boiling rage against Matthan. When he approached him and heard that what he is implying is true, he tranquiled down and left and went home.

He called together his friends, relatives and Zeresh his wife. He go around bragging to them about his vast wealth, his many sons, and all the in favored ways the King had honored him and how he had elevated him above the other nobles and officials. Zattu you've done hardwork to achieved everything you had... his wife said. And its likely to high-up you as an important person who has a lot of authority and influence. Yes, you got your position because the King was delighted in your capabilities. You ranked yourself more highly than a noble of no value, so you deserved to be the prime minister as well.

And that's not all, Zattu added. I'm the only person Queen Zuriel invited to accompany the King to the banquet she gave. And she has invited me along with the King tomorrow. Although I was not the only one being invited, I have heard few of the King's very trusted eunuchs and officials are invited also. Nobles, of course will be there too. But all this gives me no satisfaction as long as I see that Lecans Matthan showed up everyday at the King's gate, he just sitting there and has nothing but sit.

His wife Zeresh and all his friends and his relatives said to him, "Have a gallows built, seventy-five feet high, and ask the King in the morning to have Matthan hanged on it. Then go with the King to the dinner and be happy. This suggestion delighted Zattu, and he had the gallows built. Not having any idea of who Matthan to the Queen Zuriel. If he had knew this, he probably had a changed of mind. The only thing he had him investigated was all about his part of the Lecans and the son of Jair, the Lecans tribe in charge. He diesn't even know his relations to Abiscus. As far as he knows Jair is his father colleagues during the days of war.

Zattu's rage against Matthan increases day after day. And he also found out that Matthan's father was there when his father's troop were ambushed. Zattu's father was the General in charge of the Arisai army troops. General Gihon was the rank official who suggested King Zeba to take Jair's tribe men captive then exiled. Jair became Gihon's friend for in truth he got Jair's trust early before sending off his men to post in front of the battle, he consoled Jair that he will considered their friendship to freed them after the battle but in some surprisingly instances they even wanted not to happened, many of Jair's men died in the midst of the war and Gihon's trooped were ambushed when they tried to escape. Gihon was left alive but to assure he couldn't get back to his base they amputated both of his legs. Jair found him and with the help of Gihon's army they brought him back quick at the army base. Five days later, Gihon commanded to freed all Jair's tribe and just let them live on the mountainside instead of sending them to exile, and he made sure that no one will touch them there, he gave them the script stating that security was provided highly risks with the King's signet ring stamped on the lower part of the script. 

This time without any hesitation Zattu recommended to the King to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Lecans which it couldn't be because of the script provided for their security measures by general Gihon, Zattu will be charge of law-breaker and it will demotes his position as the prime minister, moreover be thrown in to imprisonment.

Matthan knew this script but this is only applied to the Lecans and not to other tribes although the other tribes are allowed living on the mountainside, they hide on the cliffs and caves and no security measures provided. Horons more or less are not safe once they were captured again so Matthan has been troubled by the prime minister's plotted plan somehow, he'll know what the consequences of his stubborness but he also had a card on his hand to ticket him to have a better living of his people. He sort this things out carefully and planned well all he need is Zuriel on the surface.

Zuriel is taking her napped on her chamber, she assure everything on Zattu's downfall. She worked on this ever since she had the copy of the text written  with the King's ring signet. Having its signet ring in a script it will probably be executed on the casting of pur. So she had to do the courage to manipulate, somehow the situation, it will risks her life but she cannot risks more lives of not doing anything. She promise on her father's grave that she will take care of his tribes like how he took care of it when he was still alive and importantly he gave his last breath to protect this tribe. And she will not just give up without doing anything. If she will run her pace backing, they will all be vanished and its not gonna happen, not at this crucial moment.

She awaken by a whispering sound on her ears, when she open her one eye, she was startled by Aram's face grinning on her. She hit his chess strongly but just gain ached on her hand. What? Aram said. She sat up, what are you doing here? I just wanted to see you, is that bad? Look what you've done, does it hurt? Of course not! Of course not... may I see, why its easily gets reddish? He kiss it, don't do that again, that's an order. Come with me, where, just get up come on, wait on me outside i will just cleaned up and dressed. Alright be quick, fine. She lie down instead but Aram force her to get up. Get out now or I will... she laugh while looking to Aram receding. You better be quick or I'll lift you up on my shoulder. She throw him a pillow and shouted Get Out, get out! Aram laughed out loud. All the servants were astonished on their  sweet squabbles and they couldn't hide their smile to the King's behavior.
