Chapter 9- All Mine

Helen's Pov

After what happened to Elena, my helper asked me to take over Elena's property cause I deserve it all and Elena does not deserve all the properties she has, it's only someone that is smart like myself that deserve it all and I also agree with her statement because Elena is not smart at all, if she's smart, she won't have fall into the trap years back and still fall into same one when she's human. You all wonder how I know about what happened to Elena years back, well my other name is Alisha and those that have heard of my other name, know me as Elena's adopted sister. Before Elena treats me like her sister, I hate her and after becoming her sister, I still hate her cause she has everything a girl wish to have. Is it the power that can brought down the whole world or the kind of man she has and I tried everything in my power to collect every single thing she has but it all failed until someone send me a letter and wrote down how to conquer Elena and it worked and that makes me to worship the person. After Elena's death, I got a message again to come to earth and wait for Elena's birth in order to kill her so she won't come back to life again and so I did, and that gave me opportunity to turn everyone against Elena. I am the one behind the reason Elena's parents hate her by planning with Nandoka's seer to tell them about the prophecy he saw when they were born that Elena will be the reason behind Nandoka's downfall and that is when they both started to treat her badly but what baffles me is the reason why her sisters hates her. And when the people see the way their King and Queen treat their child, that also give them the gut to disrespect her. At first, Elena will report them to her parent but when she discovered they don't take any action, she stopped reporting to them. And she became friend with me because she sees me as the only one that treats her better not knowing I'm the cause of her problem. So when I got a letter after Elena's death, that makes me very happy because I thought what the person is also after Elena's properties and after seeing the content of the letter, I was surprised, which makes me wonder to myself the real reason the person has hatred for Elena but I don't care the reason cause I've already gained what I want. The following week I got the letter, I went to Elena's office with pride and went to the receptionist and asked her to show me Elena's office because I'm the new boss. She asked for Elena and I told her Elena went for a trip and she asked me to look after her company. The receptionist called someone to come downstairs and when the person arrived, I found out she's Elena's secretary Catherine. When Catherine arrives and I introduced myself to her, she looked at me with contempt and that surprised me because I don't think we've met before not to talk of offending her or knowing me, so why will she looked at me with such gaze. She's looking at me with contempt while at the same time showing me to Elena's office respectfully. When we got to the office, I was taken aback because I did not expect Elena to have this kind of power which makes me look down on myself; I've been on earth for more than 300 years and I did not achieve what someone that arrives here 23 years ago achieved, but there's no worry for me anymore because everything now is all mine. I asked Catherine to call for emergency meeting and she obeys immediately but I'm not happy with her all because firstly, I feel as if she looks like Elena, Secondly, everything about her is shouting "Danger", Thirdly, she looks at me as if I'm beneath her and I thought to myself that I will sack her after I'm in charge of everything here. She report back to me that the workers are waiting for me and I stand up from where I'm sitting and went to where the meeting will take place but I was surprised with how they are looking at me, I can't put my hand on what's strange about them but my intuition tells me they are all dangerous. They looked at me with contempt and the look on their face makes me feel as if they are looking at a dead person, which makes me wonder the exact reason they all looked at me with contempt, well I don't want to know about the reason, all I want and care about is Elena's properties. So I asked each department to come to my office with their subordinate and after that I left the meeting room but what surprised me is that I heard them murmuring "Oh she thinks she owns everything now not knowing she would have become a dead person if not because she's still has some use, after the boss is done, the boss will kill, one that can betray someone that shows her love, what can she not do to those that did not show her love". What I heard makes me wake up from my sleep and realize I'm a fool. I'm a fool because I trust my helper when it was written in the letter to take over everything forgetting that the one that hates Elena might also be jealous of her. The person asked me to come here to takeover, whereas the person subordinate are already in the office, which means the reason I was not killed is because they don't know where Elena's properties are and they want me to lead them to it and after that, I will be killed. I will never allow such to happen, everything single thing is mine and I won't share it with anyone. They want to know where the other properties are right, then I won't go there, I won't step my foot on them, I would rather sell them and let them continue to think there Elena's properties somewhere in this world. When I got to the office, I starts to think about what to do with everyone in this office, and my conclusion is to kill them but how will I kill everybody cause I'm sure they are not human, well I will act as if I don't know anything and make a move when they least expect.
