A deep scoff fell from Beta Dominic’s lips as he simultaneously released his grip. I fell to the floor immediately, coughing out my lungs as I massaged my neck.
“What do you think you're doing?’’ He asked the intruder in a slightly offended tone.
“I should be asking you that, don't you think? What were you doing choking her like that?’’ Gamma Alex approached, leaning down to my level.
Beta Dominic scoffed again, this time in disbelief, as Gamma Alex reached for my arms to pull me up. “What are you, her savior?’’
“Are you okay?’’ He ignored Beta Dominic, giving all his attention to me, and I wondered if it was the same Gamma Alex I encountered back in Alpha Rembrary's bedroom.
I nodded nevertheless, stylishly releasing myself from him. He turned to face Beta Dominic
