Alexa feet were killing her .she'd been hoofing it around on those two-inch stilettos for what felt like eternity. What she wouldn't give to add a couple of natural inches to her barely beyond four-foot height. But the agony was worth every wincing moment. She smiled to herself as she looked around she'd decided to stay behind until the clean up was completed with her friends .Alexa was known for her hard work . And her loving character, Alexa does not believe in fairytale or love.what mattered the most to her was her job,she is working as an intern at a novel company. "marie am sorry,I have to go my mom is going to explode my phone with her calls.she told me to grab some groceries for her at the store". she said wearing a sad face."it's ok Alexa I will see you tomorrow then"marie replied in a low thin voice."Are you sure you can handled this alone".'Alexa' she grinned "it's ok you can go,but you have to come back early tomorrow ok". Alexa took her bag and hurried out of the office as fast as she can.she went to the groceries store and bought everything she needed.she got home in less than thirty-minutes.her mother was really annoyed with her. "mum am really sorry,something came up at work, we had a clean up to do". "that's no excuse young lady,now your old mother is hungry just hand me the groceries". " ok mom am headed upstairs to take a shower I will be back downstairs in an hour. The rest of the evening was eventful we had dinner and I rounded up the night,by having a movie night with myself. THE NEXT MORNING "Alexa pov" i got up at 6.00am took my shower and I got ready for work,we are to resume back to work by 8.00am.the girls promised to be there by eleven. Marie was sitting behind the reception counter turning on the computer when Alexa arrived. "Hey. you're really early". marie looked at the wall clock above the juice machine." Great night last night,huh?" "it sure was". Alexa took a seat at the reception counter .she leaned towards marie. "soo...how was it chile?" marie's saffron complexion glowed crimson. " How was w-hat?" Alexa pursed her lips ."The boom-boom." she grinned. "Alexa!" she hissed between her teeth as if there was someone else around to hear them . "That's private" Alexa stretched out the top half of her body across the counter and laid her head down." can't I live vicariously through you? "me stuff gon' dry up and blow away " " shh marie someone might hear you" Alexa wears a serious face,like she was about to go fight a war.
