Anna’s POV.

Still amazed at what I just witnessed from Oliver, he made me a beautiful glass rose with all the colors I love. How? I’m not even sure, but it’s so amazing. After watching the interaction between Clark and Lia, it got really quiet, but I mean it was her fault, all the child was asking for was the truth. Damn I am so hungryyyy… UGHHH I’d kill for a burger with fries and a strawberry milk shake right now. As I’m thinking that to myself, I see Val get up off my lap and head over to Oliver and see him whisper something in his ear. I wonder what that’s about. Next thing I know, I see Oliver close his eyes and his hands glowing!!!

“I know it’s not much, but we hope you take this from us as a thank you for everything you’ve done for us.” Oliver says while literally handing me a burger with fries and a strawberry milkshake…. Omg this kid is awesome!!!! Exactly what I was cravinggggg. While grabbing it from Oliver, I smiled at him, and thanked him for the food. I turned towards the other two boys and offered some food, and they shook their head's no.

“How’d you know this is exactly what I was wanting to eat??” I asked all excitedly while talking a bit out of my burger. Val went to raise his hand while rubbing his eyes.

“Oh that’s because of me. I can anyone mind of my choosing I just prefer people who have beautiful auras around them. It’s always a wonderful thing to listen to their thoughts.” Val says, yawning, taking one of my French fries from me. Awww that is sooo cuteeee. Then he turned his head towards Lia.

“I also know what you’re thinking, miss. Your thoughts aren’t very nice. So I’d prefer it if you don’t think about my brother that way. All he did was tell you he hates liars, and you are lying to him and how he feels is your punishment.” Val says with a straight face void of emotions. Wow, glad I’m not on that end. I looked over to Lia and saw her face shocked, like she didn’t know he was going to say that to her. Then I saw regret flash across her face with sadness.

“You’re right, I’m sorry. I just thought it would be better for you to not know right now, considering how young you all are.” She says sadly. I turned towards the boys and said,

“She has good intentions, little ones. They are just something you're better off not knowing right now until you get older. We would rather you guys still be little kids because, honestly, you only get to be little kids once. Cherish it while you still can. Okay? Clark, I know you're hurt because she lied to you, but it was just to try to protect you in some ways and, Val, it’s not okay to read minds Willy nilly, that’s an invasion of privacy to that person, ok??” Seeing them gets somewhat sad but nod

“We’re sorry, we never really gave it much thought to that we were just used to using our powers that way,” Clark says while Val nods his head hung low. Aww, I reach over to them and give them hugs to let them know they are not in trouble, just that they need to be mindful of their actions. Once I’m done, I look back up at my friends and see them once again in shock. Oh my gosh, I wonder what it is now that I did that shocked them…

“You know you’re really motherly to these little kids…. It’s kinda hot, you know that?.” Xzavian says while giving me his signature smirk showing off his dimples.

“I wouldn’t say kinda. I’d say it’s very hot.” Xzavier says, winking at me. This doofus, he’s such a flirt. No wonder he’s a player.

“Oh I absolutely agree.” Xzander blows me a kiss while agreeing with them. Geez, these boys are going to be a handful when they get girlfriends and not just flings. Rolling my eyes at them, flirting with knowing they are just joking.

“So, Anna, how’s high school going?? I know you have just started 10th grade, but I need to make sure your grades are up to par.” Lia asked me. Groaning, ughhhh now I can answer this honestly, or I can avoid the topic somehow. Nahhh let’s just answer. If I avoid it, they’ll notice something’s up and that’s the last thing I need.

“It’s going well, still getting A’s and B’s, ya know. All good here.” I said quickly, hoping she'd change the topic.

“That’s good keep up the good work. I don’t want to see you slacking because once you do, I’ll have to keep you from going on missions.” She says, going back to get her book. Thank goodness!!! I’ve successfully managed to dodge anything school related now.

“Wow, that’s good, so how’s that thing going with that one boy?? What was his name? It started with a W.” Thalia says with a smirk on her face, knowing she just threw me under the bus. Damn her! After she said that, everyone’s eyes snapped at me. Groaning… I put my head down on the couch, avoiding anyone’s eyes.

“WHAT GUY?!” The triplets shouted at once. Great, just great.

“Anna, you’re talking to a guy??” Vincent says while leaning up against the wall. Nooo now he's even interested in this. WHYYY!! Why do I have such bad luck?

“There's no guy, he’s just a friend geez!” I’m flushed red in my face from the embarrassment. Please just drop the topic.

“Ohhh a friend huh?? Soo why are you getting defensive if he’s just a friend?? Hmm, he makes me quite curious if the great Anna is interested in him.” Obi says with a hint of amusement in his voice, knowing exactly what he’s doing. Ughhhh why oh why can’t it ever be easy with them?

“Shut up Obi.” Groaning internally while blushing furiously on my cheeks, knowing damn well I was getting shy and embarrassed.

“Hmmm I’m quite intrigued,” Vincent says, which is never a good thing when he does. I looked over at Layla because she'd been awfully quiet for some time only to realize she was lip-syncing the song Anna and Westley sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G. Geez she knows his name. I facepalm myself and groan. At least someone’s happy. I looked over at Mikey because he hadn’t said a single word, which was odd for him. He’s got a deep frown on his face, it seems to me he’s spacing out, which he only does when he’s thinking too hard. I wonder what about…
