Her crush

Anna’s POV.

“So who’s the lucky man that’s caught your attention??” Lia casually says while turning the page of her book. She just had to point it out loud. Rolling my eyes, really wishing this could be down with already.

“If I tell you guys, would you stop with the questions?? And not look into him??” I gave them all stern looks, knowing if I didn’t state it like that, that’s exactly what they would all do.

“Yes!” Everyone shouted. Geez, would it kill them to not show too much enthusiasm?

“His name is Westly, and he’s really nice and super cute in my opinion. We’re just talking right now, nothing big. Umm, he also gives me piggyback rides because at school I’m just kinda lazy. But he’s really sweet. He even gave me his sweater when I was cold.” I said sheepishly, blushing hella hard. I look up and see all the guys looking shocked with their mouths hanging open like a fish out of water.

“ what?! A girl can have a crush too, ya know. It doesn’t just have to be guys damn. Besides, we are just talking. It hasn’t really gone anywhere yet…” kinda hoping it will lead to something though…

“So do you want it to lead to somewhere then?? Huh??” Thalia says, wiggling her eyes at me while Layla snickers at her but blows little kissy faces at me. Oh my gosh, these girls make everything so embarrassing.

“UGH! Yes, maybe? IDK okay I just know I like him, that’s all geez.” I said, running my fingers down my face.

“What does he look like?? Hmm??” Obi says with a soft tone.

“ He’s 5’3, a bit taller than me right now, his hair is really flat but poofy and ughhh his cheek bones loveeee them. They are so stretchy and get this! He has dimples on both cheeks, and they are so DEEP!! Every time he talks or smiles you can see them, and it just makes me want to pull at his cheeks, or I get the urge to kiss him. And his jaw line is so refined, his face is oval-shaped so it’s perfect!! He’s got thickish eyebrows, but they are shaped perfectly honestly. And his eyes are a mixture between light brown and dark brown. Oh! And his laughhhh when I hear it, it’s just sooo mouth watering.” I stop my blabbering when I look up to see the guys dead silent but the girls giggling because of how much I ranted about him. Oh My Gosh!!! How embarrassing. I pulled my hair around my face to hide myself from them a little bit.

“Aww, that is so cute! You’ve got a colossal crush on him if you noticed all that. I wish you all the best of luck to you honey.” Lia says lovingly to me, knowing that it’s been hard for me to have romantic feelings for someone.

“Thank you, well. That’s enough questions. I’m going to go to my room now, bye!!! See you later little ones.” I turned around and gave the three kids a kiss on the forehead and dipped upstairs into my room.

Kallia’s pov.

As soon as she’s out of sight, I decide to put my book down and turn towards all of them.

“Hey Obi, can you show these little ones the gaming room and their rooms please? Once you’re done doing that, only you come back here, Obi.” While saying that, everyone was giving me silent looks, debating on what I was going to say.

“Did we do something wrong?? I’m pretty sure Anna isn’t upset, but if you’d like, I can go get her.” Vincent aka my lil (little) Vinny. Such a sweetheart he is. I just wish he’d been more open to his own feelings. With a sigh, I told him.

“No, I just need you guys. Anna doesn’t need to be present for this, I think it best that way.” While waiting for Obi to come back, Mikey seems to be the most nervous one out of all of them. He twiddles his thumbs whenever he gets nervous and agitated. Good to know that the habit has never changed. Obi walks back into the room.

“Good now that you’re all here, we need to talk. Especially how you all feel about Anna.” Watching them all go dead silent waiting for one of them to speak up.

“What about it??” Mikey speaks up suspiciously like he’s not sure what’s going on. This boy sometimes.

“Well, I know how each of you feel romantically towards her, but you do know that now she has a very big crush on a boy that you guys cannot interfere with right. You can’t sabotage her crush or make him scared, get it?? Let it play out. I mean it and if you guys are so threatened by this crush, then I suggest you up your game and get her attention. But if her and her crush develop mutual feelings, just know things will change, and we won’t know what’s going to happen. That’s all I’ve got to say, so do some thinking about it okay?” Hopefully, things snapped in place for them to not hide their feelings from her. I just know either way that she will be okay. Now to see how things play out.

“Well, do some thinking and make sure she doesn’t get hurt. It’d be the last thing any of us want for her.” Vinny said quite seriously. Oh, man, he’s going to be a tough nut to crack.

“ Yea, we wouldn’t want to make any rash decisions and end up hurting her.” Mikey softly says, sounding genuine. Aww, the boy is such a sweetheart. I look to the triplets to hear their response. I just see them glancing at one another, then finally one of them gives a huge sigh.

“Fine fine, we’ll think it over and make sure not to do anything that will hurt Anna.” Xzavian tells us while rolling his eyes. Wow, he is a stubborn one. Then I looked towards the last three of the bunch to hear from them.

“Yes, ma’am, we won’t interfere with her happiness and make sure we think before we do anything too hasty.” Thalia spoke up for both her and Layla, while Layla nodded her head yes. Now I’m just looking at Obi because he has yet to answer me. I honestly thought he’d be the first to respond, considering how strongly he feels for Anna.

“Obi??… anything you’d like to add??” I wonder why he still hasn’t said anything…. After 7 minutes went by, still not a peep from that boy. I never thought he’d be the most stubborn one out of the bunch.

“Ahem!……ahem!….. Obi??” With a sigh and him rolling his eyes, he finally decided to speak.

“ I’ll make sure to think before I act, but that’s all I’m doing. I’m not making any promises, especially when it comes to Anna.” Wow, the nerve of this boy. Oh well, I tried. That’s all I can do for now. What happens, happens.

“Alrighty I’ll take it! Now everyone, head off to bed or whatever you’re doing, you guys have a big day tomorrow.” With that, I pick my book back up and grab my glass of orange juice and head to my room.
