Dad responded, "You're right, Yvonne," turning to face their mother, who was speechless.
"You too, honey!" My mother winced.
But there's no lie in what she said!
"Did you by chance share what you took with your dad?
"What's that, mum?" I enquired. i took nothing."
"You're behaving similarly! i thought to ask if I missed out on something.
seem to me like you drank something
Dad extended his hand to her, but Mum stepped back, I think i did maybe i should share with you" Dad said walking towards his wife, until He got hold of her hand pulling mum towards himself and kissing her but it only looked like dad was begging her to kiss him back.
"Mum you don't have to be shy about it, right dad?"
"Yvonne! Mum squirmed a second time, giving me a wary glance; I was lucky she was still in dad's hold.
I yelled as I ran back upstairs, "I was only saying goodnight. This is where my job is finished."
Mandy, Dad, and Matilda's uncontrollable laughter filled the space.
"Goodnight, mum, Goodnight, Dad, and happy dreams! Mandy and Matilda said.
"And one more thing mum don't t*****e our father" Matilda seconded before running away too!
Dad kept laughing "How hilarious can these children get?"
"You helped them". Mum responded
" You can't always win let them win too honey"
"You'd better go with your kids this night"
"To where? ooh please let's call it a day and go to bed"
***********
In Yvonne's room Amanda followed her
"Yvonne what did you do?
"Nothing."
"Are you sure? you forgot your promise so soon you little witch!"
"I'm sorry i didn't mean to it just happened, you saw my situation i didn't know what else to say after mum caught me right that moment and you called me a little witch".
"That's what you are".
"You won't say sorry to me?"
"why should i?"
"Because i said I'm sorry that's not fair"
"No.
"If i had another chance I'd still tell on you" Yvonne said
"I'll get back at you; Goodnight they both yelled at each other as Mandy banged the door.
It was morning and we were on break Yvonne had asked me to take her to the hill today since there was no school today, i declined because i already promised her I'll take her there on saturday
Matilda and Yvonne walked outside to play tennis in the compound's court after breakfast. The fact that my younger sister Yvonne was the best of us often gets me incredibly angry, even though I admire her.
A young man about the age of Casper approached Matilda and Yvonne as they were playing
"Who are you? How did you get past my security? Yvonne enquired.
"I'm looking for Andy" said the stranger.
"That name doesn't exist in this house," Matilda retorted. "You can go now," Yvonne continued.
"Oooh ooh, calm yourself. You mean none of your family members bears Andy? Are you certain?
"Please, yes! You can now leave. Yvonne told him
As the stranger turned to walk away, the tennis board came into view.and he enquired,
"Can I play?"
"No you can't" . Yvonne told him to go instantly.
The stranger appeared to be defeated. Matilda and Yvonne exchanged a look before Yvonne nodded. "Okay, then pick a baton," Matilda told him, picking hers as well.
Yvonne batted her eyes as she watched them play; the stranger beat Matilda cunningly, and because he was so skilled, Yvonne decided to join in. Matilda cheered and encouraged the stranger as he was really doing well.
"Mandy; Mandy. Matilda yelled
"What is it now? " You have to see this," "Hey sticky boy, when did you arrive?" Mandy asked as she followed Matilda outside. and you've met my sisters already."
"Do you know him?" He's match with our Yvonne ."Really! wow I'm surprised.
" west are you?
Mehn, your sister is so good he made a remark as he dropped the baton.
