Several months later, Ash found herself facing an audience, and although her insides were a complete mess, she kept her smile unwavering as fifteen pairs of eager eyes waited for her speech.
With a deep breath, she slowly allowed her tension to flow as she started to speak by first introducing herself. Within a few minutes, the fixated gazes seemed less intimidating, as they began to pay attention to her words instead of her person.
Having prepared for the subject helped a lot as she found herself using the examples she had found on the internet the previous evening to discuss her topic. She had enrolled in a small program to teach about criminal justice and so far, her husband was her frame of reference
