My account read seven thousand dollars.
Like woah.
Alison walked out of his room, giving me an unreadable expression before leaving, so I kept my phone in the back pocket of my jeans, then went into his room.
He was by the window as I'd expected, and probably wasn't aware I'd walked into his room.
“It's time for your medication.” I announced, and watched him turn to stare at me.
A smile crept his lips sending my heart on a race as it always did. But I liked the feeling.
“How are you?” That had come out randomly.
But then again, how could I consider the words from such a handsome guy to be random.
Either way, I repeated, “how am I?”
