Lucien’s house is full of teenagers holding red plastic cups and the music is so loud I can hear it from the outside courtyard. Lucien told me it was just a couple of friends hanging out, eating pizza and watching the game.
I count about fifty people in this house right now. Who knows if more are coming as the night goes on?
There are people littered all around the lawn. Some making out and rubbing against each other and some just drinking and smoking cigarettes casually lying on the grass laughing happily.
We shove our way inside.
“Are you going to be good?” I ask Kim.
She nods with flushed cheeks and while excitement. “Yeah. Oh my God, I can’t believe I’m at an actual party!!”
I grin. “Well, have fun and make memories — don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.” I wink.
