Chapter 1: Fiery Night
Inside the hotel suite, the air was thick with tension.
A delicate, curvaceous body pressed against the man, fumbling impatiently at the buttons of his shirt, hands trembling, fingers weak, unable to undo them despite her efforts.
A heated hand clasped hers, voice low and rough: “Do you even know what you’re doing? Stay sharp. I called a doctor over.”
Under the influence of the drug, Lin Shuwan had lost all control. Her body burned with an unbearable itch, pressing insistently.
“Help me~”
Fu Yanci’s brows lowered, eyes dark and predatory, fixed on the woman clinging to him.
His refined features, softened by the effect of the drug, radiated a dangerous allure. His cheeks flushed, eyes half-lidded, lips slightly parted, irresistibly full.
Her lilac floral dress clung to her figure, innocent yet tempting.
Frustrated at her lack of response, Lin Shuwan lightly tapped his rigid chest, pouting: “Are you even capable? If not, go find someone else!”
Fu Yanci’s hands tightened around her waist, gaze darkening, voice low and warning: “Looking for someone else?”
Lin Shuwan was near the edge of madness.
Earlier that day, she had just returned to the Lin family. Her parents had sent Lin Muchen and Lin Yuyao to take her out.
Lin Yuyao’s dislike was written all over her face, and Lin Muchen, obsessed with his sister, abandoned her at the bar and left. Feeling awkward and downhearted, Lin Shuwan drank more than she should have.
Strangers approached her, but she remained cautious—yet someone had slipped a drug into her drink.
The man before her saved her, but the drug’s effect was strong. Had she not been desperate—and attracted to the man’s undeniable charm—she wouldn’t have found herself pressed against her savior.
But… was he even a man?!
Her body felt like it was crawling with a thousand ants, maddeningly itchy.
The drug had amplified her desires, primal urges igniting an urgent need for release.
Gripping his collar, she leaned in and pressed her lips against his.
Her eyes lifted, sultry and teasing, a feather brushing his heart.
Her hand guided his to her thigh, just a little further and the boundaries would be crossed.
Softly, almost whispering, she murmured: “I want you.”
A burst of raw energy surged through him, and Fu Yanci’s restraint snapped.
Veins stood out on his forehead, his patience gone; he no longer needed to play the gentleman.
He rolled her beneath him, husky voice with a warning: “You asked for this.”
Her snow-white arms wrapped around his shoulders, lips brushing his voice, voice soft and sweet: “Take me.”
His fierce kiss silenced her playful sounds, yet soft moans escaped.
Clothes discarded at the bedside, their bodies intertwined, the suite transformed into a haven of heat and temptation.
By the time the moon had set, the storm of desire finally ebbed.
—
Lin Shuwan awoke the next morning to blinding sunlight, realizing she had forgotten to close the curtains.
Her first day back in Haishi City, and she had spent the night with a stranger.
A milestone in her life—she wasn’t sure whether it was triumph or tragedy.
But this event must remain a secret, especially from the Lin family.
Trying to move without alerting anyone, she rose carefully, her discarded clothes scattered on the carpet.
Before her feet touched the floor, a strong arm looped around her waist, pulling her back against a firm, bare chest.
A lazy, just-awake voice whispered in her ear, low and sexy, making her heart race.
It was the same voice that had lingered near her all night.
“Sleeping with someone and thinking you can just leave?”
