Walking into the hotel I was on cloud nine. Having the amazing news from the doctor and then spending the day with Derrick who knew, I thought to myself as I rode the elevator to my floor. Stepping off the elevator I felt so sleepy, once I got to my room I decided to take a nap.

Waking up hour fours later to my phone buzzing alerting me that I had a new text, feeling around the bed for my phone I found it under the covers. Looking at the screen I felt instant butterflies when I seen it was Derrick texting me.

Derrick- I had a good time tonight. You really dope as hell.

Me- I was just thinking about you.. 

Me- Nd nah you are dope, I'm glad I bumped into you lol literally 

Derrick- Oh really lol what were you thinking? Good things I hope. But hows the rest of your night going?

Me- Welll lol. if I'm being completely honest I was thinking about your soft ass lips. 

Derrick- Word lol??

Me- My night is going good by the way. I just got out of the shower now just laying down. Would be better if you were next to me. 

Derrick- I couldn't agree more...

I lied saying I had just gotten out of the shower, I didn't want him to think I was super boring and was sleeping this entire time. My phone starting ringing, it was Niyla, hello I answered in a sleepy tone. "Hey kels, I am just now getting done with a client can I stop by. I'm so sorry I haven't really checked on you today but it was such a crazy day," she said. Of course, you can I said sitting up in the now dark room. " Okay well I'm about ten minutes away so I'll be there soon," she said. Okay, see you soon. I said handing up.

Getting up I decided to straighten up a little. I folded all of the clothes nicely and put them back into the bags and set them on the dresser. Walking into the bathroom I wanted to brush my teeth and splash a little water on my face, between the hotdogs I ate, and that nap my breath was a little tart. Brushing my teeth quickly and picking up my clothes off the floor. I walked back into the main room just as there was a knock on the door. I opened the door to see a smiling Niyla. She walked in and gave me a hug. "Hi Kels," she said sitting on the bed. Hey Girl, I said sitting right next to her. Soooo Niyla I began, I have super amazing news. I started but then caught myself, what if Niyla didn't want to help me anymore now that I wasn't pregnant. Would she still offer to take me in? I needed just a little more help, If I could just save a few checks I would have enough for a down payment on an apartment. I couldn't go back to my mom's house. Now that I've experienced what it's like on my own for these two days I just can't fathom going back. Niyla tapped me on my leg breaking me out of my thoughts. I laughed playing it off. " So tell me this amazing news girl I can't wait," she said excitedly. I took the little piece of folded paper out of my pocket that the Doctor gave me and handed it to her. She quickly unfolded the paper reading it. Her silence made me nervous. She squealed loudly and hugged me. Taking it as good news I hugged her back. Um, Niyla does this mean you aren't going to help me now? I said putting my head down. " Absolutely not Kelsey, if anything it's so much better. Do you want to pack up here and start staying with me tonight?" She said standing up. Um yes, of course, are you sure? It will only be for a few weeks. I said not even contain my smile. " You can stay for however long you need." she said happily " Just give me a minute to call Derrick to see if he's home, its already going on nine so he should be home by now," she said walking towards the balcony to make a call. I instantly got a nervous feeling in my stomach when she said the name Derrick, it couldn't be the same Derrick I spent all day with. That would be way too much of a coincidence I thought.

Just as I started to get my things together Niyla came in from the balcony smiling. " You ready to go girl?" she said heading to the door. Yes, I think I have everything I said following behind her.

We got to the lobby, she handed me her keys so I could go to the car while she checked me out of the hotel. I headed to the car, setting my bags in the back I felt so happy. This day couldn't be any better. Niyla came out not long after climbing into the driver seat and starting the jeep up.

The driving to her home was kind of long, it took about a half-hour. Pulling up to her home my breath was taken away. Her home was absolutely stunning, I wouldn't expect anything less now that I think of it . I was slightly nervous to meet her fiancé, I hadn't been in a house with another man ever and I didn't know this man. Getting out of the car and walking up to the front door, she opened it and we both walked in. Her home was so inviting and cozy looking, not to mention it smelled amazing. The living room was beautiful like something out of a magazine.

Shutting the door behind us, she lead us upstairs to where I would be staying. Following her, up the stairs and down the hallway she pointed to where her bedroom was, and all the way across the house was my room. She said she gave me this room so I would have a little privacy. Opening the bedroom door it was absolutely beautiful.  

For some reason, it completely slipped my mind that she was an interior designer. " Make yourself at home Kels, I'll go find Derrick and have him grab your bags out of the car and bring them up. I'm so tired from everything today I'm about to jump in the shower and when I'm done we can figure out dinner. We will probably just order post mates or something." She said walking out of my room shutting the door. I plopped down on the bed and closed my eyes. Just as I started to drift off the sleep there was a knock at the door. Assuming it was her Fiancé I got up to open the door. Opening the door my heart completely fell to the bottom of my stomach as my eyes locked eyes with his .....
