Tristan’s POV-
I was taken to hospital not long after Lexi was taken away from me. My neck was bruised and swollen from where Raven had strangled me, when I tried to prevent him from handing over Lexi to Blood Moon’s Alpha, as a breeder of all things. She deserves so much better than that. She deserves to be treated like a Queen.
The first moment I got, I ran. I went home, packed a bag, and went to the nearest human city. I completely shut my mindlink off. I even muted my phone so I wouldn’t hear the continuous calls that my father no doubt will be giving me. I hate that this is what my life had come too. I was in a run down motel, just on the outskirts of a human city. I am drinking a bottle of bourbon that I had brought. I plan on drinking my sorrows away. I was beaten down by Raven.
