Chapter 2

"Ela!!!! Oh my gosh, it's been so long since I've seen you again," I stopped in my tracks at the familiar voice and turned around as it called out my name while we were heading towards the car.

"Hey, Yanna?" I replied because only my best friend could pull off something like that.

"Yes, it's me Ela!, my gosh friend, I miss you so much. Why are you here? I didn't say that I was going back to the Philippines," Yanna said, clearly confused.

I hugged her while leaving Zan and Mr. Ricalde behind.

""I didn't even know you were coming back to the Philippines! Oh my gosh!!!! But why are you here already? I thought your medical mission in Africa would take longer? Nevertheless, I'm so glad you're back, and on the exact same day my sister returns. What a coincidence! How have you been? Have you found your dream boyfriend yet?" I said, momentarily forgetting that I had two companions.

"Beshie La, hold on a sec, you're with someone else, remember?" Yanna cautioned, but I couldn't contain my excitement at seeing her again. She had been away on a medical mission in Africa, and her early return after just 8 months instead of a year surprised me.

"Who is she?" Zan interrupted my thoughts.

"Oh! Zan, this is Yanna Velasco, my best friend that I always talk about to you, the one you didn't get to meet before you left because you were too busy," I said while rolling my eyes at her.

"Ela, I didn't mean to, sigh, I've returned after 1 year and that's how you treat me?" Zan said.

"Hmhmm~, you know, you seem different now..." I said while smirking, because my sister's a bit twisted, and I know her moves, so let's tease her a bit.

"What?" Zan said while glaring at me.

"What?" I said, as the people around me fell silent.

"Anyway, let's get going. Mr. Ricalde and I will take one car, and you, Zan, and Yanna can take the other, okay?" I suggested with a grin.

"Ugh, Ela, seriously?" Zan groaned, clearly annoyed.

"Yeah, sure, whatever. Yanna, you said you wanted to get to know my sister, so here's your chance. Have a bonding moment with your one and only....." I said, teasing Zan.

"Ugh, Ela, I'm going to smack you. You didn't even ask your sister if she wants me in the car with her? And your sister might even be in a relationship with the guy she's with," Yanna said, mentioning the possibility of them being a couple, which really pierced my heart, but it's okay.

"We're not even lovers! What the heck!?" said Sir Ricalde and Zan simultaneously.

"Hahaha, okay, okay, no problem. Yanna, you take the car with my sister, while Mr. Ricalde and I take the other. And Yanna, what? You'll take a cab?" I teased, noticing the blush creeping up her cheeks.

"Ela, not really, but..." Yanna said, embarrassed.

"Anyway, let's go, ugh, come on!" I interrupted her because I knew both of them were bisexual, sigh.

"Let's go," and this time, I held his hand while dragging Mr. Handsome towards the car. After a while, I glanced at his face and couldn't help but scream in my head 'AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!' as we both entered the car. While I was flustered by Mr. Handsome's face, I also noticed Zan and Yanna getting into the car.
