CHAPTER TWELVE -- A NEW ARRIVAL
I walk down to the living room downstairs, ready to face him.
But instead, I had a surprise waiting for me. His first lover and ex-fiancée, Renae, had arrived at the mansion. Renae was my biggest rival when I was trying to marry into the Kensington family. I was so jealous of her and so were my other competitors. I would have never had the chance to marry Vincent had she not been abroad taking care of pressing business. Vincent had married me instead, but now she was back.
I knew immediately. Madam Kensington had asked her to return.
If she did, Vincent might stop being infatuated with me and we'd finally get divorced. That way, Madam Kensington could easily take care of me and her secret without having to give me the ten million. it was an obvious ploy.
