-Claire’s P.O.V.- “Did I beat him?” Allison asks, eyes wild as she looks around the clearing Aaron and I are sitting in. She seems slightly breathless, which means she must have really put effort into running this time. Allison rarely gets winded while running, as she normally doesn’t have to exert herself to be among the best.   Even then, Landon drops down from a tree behind us and smiles. Allison’s expression drops.   “Not quite,” Landon retorts, “but close.”   “Not close at all,” Aaron contributes, then lets out an ‘ow’ when Landon smacks him over the head. “You coddle her too much.”   “Shut up, Aaron.”    “Rude,” Aaron says, rubbing his head. “I am simply voicing what the people would say.”   “If by the people you mean our parents,” Allison starts, suddenly behind us both
