“FOILED”
LUCCA’S POV:
I knew when I heard the rogue tell Bridgette that he had been paid to steal her from me that it had to be Evan James. His father, the former Alpha, had been entirely too interested in the concept that the Lycan King’s daughter was in West Virginia. I shook my head as I gathered the rogue up and tossed him over my shoulder. You would think that Evan’s father would register the potential wrath from the Lycan King if anything, and I mean if anything happened to his daughter, I could only imagine the terror unleashed upon us.
“I hate to have to leave you again, but I am going to take this rogue back to my pack and get some more answers. You have been stressed enough for one night.” I said gently, leaning over and kissing her on the forehead. She closed
