Ch. 6 where is she?

ASHER'S POV

I stayed up all night coming up with a plan to show her that i do want her. I never ment to hurt her by not helping her when everyone was abusing her and using her as a slave.

It's Five o'clock in the morning and I'm finally finishing up her surprise. I made a slide show of all the pictures I have of her when we were friends growing up and other pictures of her I've gotten over the years from my mom. At the end of the side show it says "I want to be your mate for the rest of my life" I just hope I'm not to late and that she wants me.

"I know mate doesn't hate us. All those years we just ignored her for fear we might upset the pack" Apollo growls in my head.

"I know what you mean" I say back.

Now all I have to do is is mind linked her to meet me at the pack house door and take her to the spare office that is sound proof so I can tell her I want her as a mate. I just hope she doesn't think I'm trying to trick her.

"Kore I need to see you asap in front of the pack house in thirty minutes" I mind linked her as I finish putting the projector up in the office.

Now all I have to do is take a shower and get dressed. I head to my room as I get close to my room I can smell another wolf inside by the smell it smells like a she wolf and I instantly now who it is.... Brenda she's been trying to get me to make her my luna for two years now ever since she still hasn't found her mate and she's 22 now, I've taken her bed plenty of times an was even going to make her my luna but held off for fear of never having a heir to the pack since you can't get someone who isn't your mate pregnant. but know I can keep kore as my mate and just not mark her and Tha way I can still have an heir.

"What the hell is she doing in our room?" Apollo growls loudly.

"I don't know but she is getting out now before she ruins our plan" I growl back.

I open the door and she throws herself in my arms and eyes to kiss me but let her go quickly. She looks up at me with a fake sad look on her face.

"baby I missed you where were you yesterday" she says.

"look i need you to leave quickly i need to speak with someone right now and if your still here my plan will ruin" I growl out.

"but I'm your mate" she says back trying to cry.

"No your not yet please just go" I growl.

"yes..." she says but I cut her off.

"No your not get. out. now" I use my Alpha time on her and she shows her neck in submission and gets out.

"Go take shower and get ready for mate we only have ten minutes left" Apollo says

So I head to my bathroom and head to my shower that can easily hold five people. I turn the hot water on as I get undressed and step in. The water is hot but I don't mind it helps clear my mind and focus on winning our mate over.

I step out and grab a towel and start drying off. I brush my teeth shave my chin from the little bit of hair that was growing and then I run my fingers through my hair to make it lay down but still leave a bit of natural messy look to it. I walk out of the bathroom and head towards my walk in closet and get a shirt and pair of pants and get dressed once I'm done I head down stairs.

I go grab an apple to eat while I wait. when I notice it's been five minutes past the time for her to be here Apollo and I start to get restless

"Where is mate she should be here by now she only stays in the basement" Apollo says to me.

"I don't know" I say that's when the smell hits like a ton of bricks.

"Thats mate" Apollo growls furiously.

I didn't know I had let out a loud growl till my father runs up to me.

"Asher you need to calm down what's wrong" he asks me carefully as he can see I'm fighting Apollo for control.

"its her I can smell her blood" I growl out to him.

"who's blood son?"

"it's Kore's" I say as I take off to find her.

I follow the smell to the second floor which is for the gammas family. I follow the smell the the spare bathroom at the end of the hall. I push the door open so hard the door splits down the middle and breaks.

"Asher what is wrong..."

He doesn't get a chance to finish when I snap. She is a slumped position against the outside of the tub her back to us and one arm hanging over almost to the inside of the tub her heas against the lip of the tub almost like she fell asleep while cleaning the tub. The only way you'd now she was hurt was by the smell of blood and the pool of blood growing around her legs. That was all it took for Us to snap.

"WHO DID THIS TO MATE!!!!!!" I roar out in my alpha tone.

I ran to her a scooped her up in my arms holding her close to my chest being as careful as I can with her. She has a gash on her hairline where you wouldn't see it if it wasn't for the blood steadily running down her face.

"Dr. come to my room immediately" I mind linked to the pack Doctor.

"yes alpha, on my way sir" came the immediate reply.

I take off to my room leaving my father behind. I kick my door open and kick it shut behind me. I run to the bed and lay her on the side I sleep on and as soon as I lay her down there's a knock at the door.

"enter"

"you called for me sir" the pack Dr answers as he enters while carrying his bag he takes with him for home visits.

"yes please help her she was injured I don't how but she is passed out and has a gash on her hair line."

He comes close and as he reaches for her he a growl escapes me.

"I need to clean her cut please go get me a warm wet rag" Dr. Matt says without looking at me.

"ok please just help her" I say as I go to my bathroom and get the rag when I come back he is laing a a needle and some stitch thread.

"I can tell she will need stitches but I won't know how many till I clean her head please don't growl I need to touch her to do it"

"yes Dr. I know it's just I just found her and know she is hurt before I can claim her" I say handing him the rag.

He takes the rag and clean up the blood its still bleeding but not as fast. he takes some alcohol pads and after three pads he is finished cleaning her up. He then reaches for the needle and thread and I tense up.

"I will need to give her sixteen stitches its a long deep gash I'm sorry Asher"

"its fine please continue" I say as I hold her hand and feel the sparks that calm me down immediately.

After five minutes he is finally done and leaves.

"I promise I'll find out who did this and they will be punished for hurting you, my mate." I say and kiss her hand before I walk out the door I already have a suspect.
