Johanna woke to a someone beating rapidly on the door. she blinked a few times to orient herself and turned to the clock on her nightstand. It was 2:30am, she creased her eyebrows wondering who that could be at this hour. "Just a moment." She called out as she scrambled to grab her robe and tie it securely before unlocking the door and opening it a crack. "What is going on?" She asked as Kahuna stood in front of her her door. "Mother, Khali is in labor." He announced. She took in his appearance and shook her head. He had on his pajamas, his hair was disheveled and he had a worried look in his eyes. "Ok, son. Let me just throw something decent on. You call the physicians, let your father know and get her to the birthing room. I'll be there shortly." He nodded his head and went straight to Turros room.
Johanna quickly washed her face, brushed her teeth and took off her hair bonnet. Moving with urgency she went to her closet and pulled out a long form fitting maxi dress and a pair of stiletto sandals. She was expected to look her best at all times, however she had to be swift so that Turro wasn't waiting on her. There was a soft knock at the door. "Come in." She stated loudly from her closet. She could tell it was Aubrey by the soft knock. "My Lady, the King is requesting your presence." She said in a low voice. "He woke you for this?" Johanna asked turning to face her helper. Aubrey blushed and put her head down. "I wasn't sleeping." Johanna huffed and rolled her eyes. Obviously her time with the King had been interrupted. "Well if that's the case he must be in good spirits then, since he was able to work out some of his frustrations." The statement was dripping with sarcasm. "I apologize My Lady, i didn't mean to imply..." Aubrey began, but Johanna put her hand up stopping her. "No need to apologize, you doing your job allows me to relax and regroup. At any rate let's not keep my husband waiting any longer." She said while rubbing some gloss on her plump lips. Aubrey walked faster to keep up with Johanna's speedy pace.

"Ahhh my love, you are just in time she's beginning to crown." Turro said stretching his hand motioning for her to come close to him. She accepted his hand and stood gracefully next to his chair as they watched Khali struggle to give birth threw the double sided mirror.Turro grabbed Johanna and pulled her down into his lap and held her close to him rubbing her back in soothing circles. He paid no attention to Aubrey nor did he care to spare her feelings."As beautiful as you look and as delicious as so smell I can tell your tired." He whispered in her ear, not wanting to take the attention of the small group from the imminent birth. "Definitely, I had a long day." She nodded her head in agreement. "Your personal time was interrupted." She stated the obvious looking into his eyes. "It's no problem it's not like the time I spend with you. That is invaluable" He said kissing her forehead. Johanna lay there cuddled up to his chest and watched as Khali struggled to give birth to her future daughter in law. It was no surprise to her that Kahuna chose to be in the room, instead of sitting with them. He stood holding her left hand while Jei held her right hand. Since she was giving birth to a female and the future princess the staff and physicians made sure Khali was as comfortable as possible. she was surrounded with pillows to keep her in position, there were two buckets of ice water by her bed. One to dip a cloth in so that the many helpers could keep her cool and the other for her to have ice chips when her mouth got dry. She was given the maximum amount of pain relievers and she was given praises by Jei and Kahuna. Johanna thought back to when she had Kahuna and it was very different experience. Because she was having a son who was to be the future King she had to show strength and was not even allowed to have pain relievers and Turro was standing behind the double sided glass with his parents. She had made sure she would never have to experience that amount of pain again.
While Johanna sat quietly in Turros lap Aubrey was in aww of the gentle touch and care he showed his Queen. Lou was standing guard by the door feeling as if his heart was going to beat out of his chest watching how docile Johanna seemed in her husband's arms.
All eyes focused on the glass when a small cry was heard and the physician turned to show the baby to the family behind the glass, then he gave her to his assistant who cleaned her off and placed her in Khali arms. Jei leaned over and kissed the baby's cheek and then his wife. Jei reached down and gently took his daughter rocking her from side to side and played with her little hands. He showed a wide smile and walked around the bed to place the baby in Kahuna arms. "I trust you will keep her happy and always see to her well being." Kahuna nodded as he looked down into the face of the beautiful baby, that looked almost identical to Khali. Jashmeyale snuggled up to Kahuna and closed her eyes, warm and content. "Thank you, she's so precious and perfect." Johanna smiled as she watched her son hold the baby, she felt like she made the right choice.

"It's sick, it's perverted and I won't allow it!" Turro raised his voice. "You agreed to this, why are you changing your mind now? How is it so easy for you to see that amount of joy on your sons face and then make a decision that will take that joy from him?" Johanna said raising her voice as well. "You are no better than a bully, that's acting out because he's losing control..." Her statement was cut short when Turros hand squeezed around her neck. Her eyes widened, eyebrows creased, and a whimper left her lips as struggled to take a breath. Turro pulled her to him and bent down so he was eye level with her. "Who do you think you are to question my authority?" He asked her calmly. The look in his eyes and grip on her neck dared her to challenge him. On instinct she placed both hands on his arms, but she knew not to push against him. She concentrated on breathing taking slow shallow breaths to concern the air she had left in her lungs. The silence was loud as he searched her eyes. The seconds crept by feeling more like minutes as she stood still and bared the pain of him choking her and the burning in her lungs from lack of adequate air supply. She reached out and laced her fingers through his other hand and whimpered. She was pleading with her eyes as the tears rolled freely down her plump cheeks. He released her and watched her drop to her knees, holding her sore throat while crying and gasping for air. "I will not allow your coddling to make my son a weak laughing stock! And you will do good to remember your place!" She did not respond because she was still recovering from his outburst of aggression. "Don't you worry darling, I am more than happy to help you in the areas that your struggling in. On your knees woman!"
