" This Caleb Wilson is crossing all his limits. Firstly, he came here despite doing all those things with my daughter and then he has the guts to shout on you.
If this wasn't for Chiku then I would have never let him step into this house. "
Mr. Jones yelled pacing to and forth. I gently grabbed his shoulders and made him to sit on the nearby couch.
He had gone to Miami due to some business meeting to help Jayden, the day Caleb came here to meet Avery and today when he came to know about all that fiasco, his anger knew no bounds.
" Uncle relax, you please sit here and calm down. " I poured down water in glass and made him to drink it.
" He is her boss and may be he came here out of concern for her. What's the big deal?"
He looked straight into my eyes as I kneeled down in front of him placing my hands over his.
" What's the big deal?... That is what you don't know son.
You know everything about her past and her mental condition but do you know who is the person behind all this ?

The one who has made her suffer all those things.
She was a beautiful flower Ryan whose innocence was ruined by that devil.
His past deeds has made my Chiku so fragile that now she can't even protect herself alone. She needs someone by her side everytime otherwise don't know what she will do.
I know it's not completely Caleb's fault but he was the only one who could protect her at that time. But No... He chose to remain selfish and destroyed my princess. "
I gasped as my mind registered his words.
Um... So, Ca.. Calebi s that person. How is this possible and Ava is working under him?
" Then how could you let her work under him? " I whisper yelled trying to control the building anger inside me.
" Because of you son. " He whispered while I twitched my brows in confusion.
" As you know that she is suffering from partial amnesia from past two years and inspite of various efforts by the doctors she is not able to remember anything. " Mr. Jones sighed looking towards Mrs. Jones as I nodded.
A fear crept inside me as I realised where this conversation was going on.
" That trauma left such a deep impact in her mind that her brain automatically shut all those dreadful memories.
But we were glad to hear that because there was nothing sweet to remember in those memories. "
Mrs. Jones said coming towards me as she sat on the couch beside me.
Have you ever heard the sound of a broken heart ?
No.. Then leave it.
You won't be able to understand my pain.
" Do you know Ryan why I didn't interfere in your and Caleb's fight that day? " She whispered cupping my face.
The weight of my heavy heart did not let any word escape out of my mouth blurring my eyes with unshed tears so I just shook my head.
" Because we know that there is someone in our daughter's life who will protect her, fight for her and let her come out of her shell.
We all know how much you love her and are protective for her. You are the man every parent wants for her daughter."
My eyes widened in horror, confusion and what not. I always tried to never reveal my feelings to anyone then how come they get to know about it.
I slowly glanced towards uncle who was sitting on my left side to see his expressions.
I know how much protective he is for Ava and now when he come to know about it, he will surely threaten me to leave away from her.
This thought itself makes me so scared.
But instead of anger, his face was full of concern.
" Don't get surprised Ryan. What did you think? If you didn't confess your feelings then we won't be able to understand it. " Mr. Jones chuckled in his rough voice.
" I know maybe Ava do not deserve a gentleman like you.
Maybe you deserve someone better.
But being a mother, I want her to enjoy her life happily and till the time she is with you we are assured about it.
Please never leave her."
She said and started sobbing. I pulled her in a gentle hug stroking her back.
" How can you say such thing about her? I have never seen someone as beautiful as her inside out. If she will come in my life then I will be the most happiest person in this world because your daughter became my everything, the day she stepped into my life.
I don't care about her past. For me only our present and future matters.
Now, I promise you I will treat her all problems with my love. "
I whispered in her ears as I am still afraid of Uncle.
Who knows what he will do after listening to my romantic speech about her dearest daughter.
" But what about Ava? I don't know what does she feel about me. I mean.. I never understand this girl. "
I asked clutching my hair.
" No need to worry about that. She will do whatever you will ask her to do. She has promised me. " My brows furrowed in confusion as I didn't understand why she will obey me.
Nah.. Not possible. She would strangle me alive rather than obeying me.
" I didn't tell you earlier son but this is the reason that I allowed her to work in Caleb's company.
First, she will do whatever you will ask her to do. Second, she won't share her medical history with anyone. Third, she will leave from here after her internship. "
He sighed gulping the water.
After knowing about Caleb, I don't want her to remain near him.
Once her internship will get over we will go back away from him.
As the trio of us were chatting, my mobile pinged with a message from Avery.
" Come at sharp 6 pm to pick me up. Otherwise be ready to be served as a dead meat tonight. "
I grinned widely as I read her message.
I want you to fall in love with me Ava and I promise you that I will never force myself upon you.
