The Date then Home

While I am driving I’m so nervous.

”Why am I so nervous, Red?” I ask.

“You’re going on a date, that’s why,” she says.

”I’ve been on a date before and I was never this nervous,” I say.

”You’re nervous because the date you’re going on is with not just anyone. It’s your mate that you’re going on the date with,” she says.

I pull up to the diner and take out the keys. I sit there not wanting to get out. I look inside the diner, Sebastián is sitting by a window in a booth holding a menu waiting for me.

“Oh come on already, just get out,”  Red says.

“Why didn’t you talk to me yesterday?” I ask.

”I really wanted to, I wanted to make you change into wolf form to make him surprised but I had to wait and I was sleeping the rest of the time, now get out,” she says.

“Okay I’m getting out,” I say and get my stuff.

I about open the door but then I am interrupted by Red.

“Get in the diner now,” Red says with fear.

I open the door quickly and walk inside. Sebastián looks up as the bell ring from me coming inside and he smiles at the sight of me. I go and sit across from him in the booth.

”I wasn’t really myself last night, I shouldn’t of acted that way towards you. Also you need to be careful around town, rogues have been spotted,” he says looking worried for me.

”Maybe that why Red was acting that way,” I say.

”What?” he asks confused.

“Oh, well while I was getting dressed before I came, she decided to talk to me because I couldn’t find anything and I was hesitant to open the diner door but then she said get in the diner with a little tension in her voice,” I say explaining it to him.

”Red, not what I would expect but it’s perfect,” he says.

Should I tell him about my mom? I don’t want to make this date bad.

”Do you like cats?” I ask.

The answer is probably no but what am I going to do with Leo he’s my fur baby.

”I can stand them why?” he asks.

”I have a cat named Leo and do rouges try to capture wolves from another pack?” I ask.

”Yes, they capture mostly females to be a surrogate,” he says.

”Would they ever try and capture me?” I ask with worry.

”No, no one will be able to get you if I’m here or if the beta, delta, warriors, and all the rest of the ranks that are in this pack are here, they will protect you with all their life. Why do you ask this?” he asks.

”I had a dream I was in a dark room in chains made of silver, a man came into the room and was laughing at me for being a Luna because I was a hybrid. I lifted the chains of the ground they broke off. I swung one at him and he passed out. I was escaping threw a window and someone pulled it back making me hit me head and pass out. That dream I had it last night,” I say.

A buzz coming from my purse makes me jump, I get my phone out and look at it, it’s from my dad.

Michelle is spending the night tonight 

I look at Sebastián and he knows I read something I don’t like.

”What is it?” he ask.

”My Mom,” I say.

”Let’s just get a drink, what do you want a smoothie or something like that?” He asks trying to get my mind off of my mom.

”Yah I want a pineapple mango smoothie,” I say.

A waiter comes by and I recognize her almost immediately.

”Is that you Haylee?” I ask.

“Oh my god it’s Krysabelle I haven’t seen you in years why haven’t you came back before today?” She asks.

”My dad has been caught up with work lately and excuse my bad manners this is Sebastián, my boyfriend,” I say gesturing towards him.

”It was great to see you again. Now what would you like to get?” she asks.

”One Pinnapple Mango smoothie and a Mountain Dew,” He says.

”Coming right up,” she says and walks away.

He looks over at me with worried eyes, he’s worried because I said my mom.

”I got to meet her this morning, I thought she was just one of my dad girlfriends and she also knew about the all werewolf thing. She thought since I was a hybrid I would have a omega as a mate so I told her that you are and left for school. My dad told me it during a text and now she’s spending the night,” I say.

”I’m coming over I think I want to see the alpha of the house you live in,” he says.

”Oh my god but I guess but I don’t think he’ll like you,” I say warning him.

“Why wouldn’t anyone not be  friends with me?” He asks.

”Look at your arms, all those are reasons, and you’re in your twenties and I’m only 17,” I say.

”Most werewolves get mates at 17, we don’t realize we are mates until both of us are 17 or older,” he says.

”Still,” I say.

Haylee comes and places our drinks down and walks away. I take mine and start drinking it while looking at him seeing if he says anything else. He reaches out his arm at me.

“Give me your phone,” he says.

”Why?” I ask.

”I’m going to say that after you come home you’re leaving with me,” he says.

”Nooo, my dad would never allow that,” I say.

”Your mom will though,” he says.

”Just ask him when we’re there, he’s going to say no because I’m pretty sure that he knows about the whole werewolf thing and he didn’t like that when Michelle said if I am still alive I can do it still and he said that I’m not a monster like her,” I say.

”If he says no, I’ll have warriors around your house,” he says.

”No, that’s not happening, I don’t want to be watched constantly,” I say.

“Come on let’s go,” he says.

He walks over to the counter and pays the bill. He comes back and takes my hand.

“Kiss him,” Red says.

”What? No I’m not going to kiss him,” I say.

“Are you sure?” Sebastián says.

“It’s not happening,” I say.

“Are you sure?” He asks.

”Yes, now get in the passenger seat but pick up the basket and set it on your lap,” I say as I push him.

I get inside and drive out of the parking lot.

“How you like it?” He asks.

”What? Oh, yah,” I say.

”I thought you would like it, oh you didn’t open the Reese’s yet stop somewhere and open it, I should of known I didn’t see you with it,” he says.

”Okay,” I say.

I pull over to the side of the road and put the truck in park. He hands me a bag of Reese’s but it’s already open but it has a string around it, tying it up. I untie the string and open up the bag, I take a look inside. I look at him with a face saying is this what I think it is? I look back in the bag and then look back at him.

”Did you seriously get me that?” I say.

”Yes, It’s a promise ring since you want to take it slow,” he says.

I take the ring from the bag, I hold it out in front of me, staring at it with all its beauty.

”Are you serious?” I say.

”Yes, now put it on,” he urges.

I put it on then I unbuckle my seatbelt and kiss him. He wraps his arms around me and deepens our kids. It feels like that all that matters right now is us together. I pull back to catch some air, I only catch on breath because he’s pulling me back to him. I push back because we can’t just stay here all night as much as he would like to. 

“Okay let’s stop I need to get home, thank you,” I say.

I buckle back up and drive off. We arrive at my house after a while. Before I can even open the door, it’s opened by Sebastián. I get out and walk to the door.

”You know you don’t have to be such a gentleman,” I say as I open the door.

”Yes I do, it’s what I should do no matter what,” he says.

We walk inside to the kitchen where we here talking and people cooking. Its my dad and mom.

”You should be happy that she has a mate,” My Mom says.

”It’s an alpha and he’s the alpha of the most dangerous pack in the world, I don’t want my daughter being put in danger or having that monster try to hurt my daughter in any form,” my dad says.

”Dad I’m home,” I say and go over and hug him.

”Who’s this?” My dad asks.

”Alpha,” my mom says then bows to him a little.

”Thank you Michelle, I am Sebastián Rodríguez and as you already know your daughter, Krysabelle Loving is my mate,” he says.

”No, no she’s not,” my dad says.

”Dad, why would I feel like this around him? Why would Red be saying his name constantly? Why would I go with him when he looked like a wolf and not run?” I ask.

”No, he’s not your mate. He’ll never be you mate because I won’t let it happen. What’s that,” he says as he points at my finger.

”A promise ring, he gave it to me, he knows that I want to take it slow and you know I’m going to wait until marriage no matter who it is,” I say.

”No take that off, you aren’t being his mate,” My dad says.

”It wasn’t my intention that she was going to be my mate sir, I haven’t seen her before last night at the chasing, I was ahead of all the rest of the males just running because I had to but then I smelt something, something that was so amazing. I smelt mint and I stopped, I knew that my mate was nearby and she wasn’t a werewolf that was in the chasing. I looked around and saw her, she grew scared are try to back away and she fell and hurt her head, I made sure she was okay and I helped her up and took her to the pack house. Since she is a hybrid she didn’t realize it as soon as I did, we got in a argument and I said sorry because my wolf come out on here and I hugged her and that’s when she realized it. She smelt Vanilla when we hugged, I thought she was a human so I was suprised because she caught onto my scent. The bond that was made once she realized it can’t be broken ever even if one of us dies. I will tell you personally myself that if anyone tries to hurt her, the whole pack will be protecting her including me. Also David I promise you I will never hurt your daughter,” Sebastián says.

While my dad is getting mad, Sebastián is standing there calm. My mom goes over to my dads side trying to calm him down.

”David, even though he is the alpha of the most dangerous pack he can protect her, he promised you he wouldn’t lay a hand on her, he told you when they first found out they were mates, you would of smelt my scent if you let me mark you,” my mom says.

”Wait one second Dad I want to show you what he got me,” I say and leave.

I open my truck and grab the basket, then I head back inside. I walk inside the kitchen with the basket.

”Oh my god, David do you remember when you gave me my first gift for just because,” my mom says and she walks over to me and looks inside the basket.

”Yes, it was a teddy bear,” he says.

“Look what he got her and it’s only been a day since they’ve meant, a rose, a wolf, candy, a note which I won’t read, and he also go her the ring, your spoiling her a lot aren’t you alpha,” my mom says.

”She deserves it, she’s my mate, she is the most beautiful women I have ever seen and she is not just beautiful she is strong, confident, brave, smart, caring, kind, respectful, and every thing else I want in a mate,” he says.

“David, why aren’t you saying anything,”  my mom says.

”I still don’t want anyone being Krysabelle’s mate,” he says.

I set the basket down and pick up the rose forget about everyone else in the room just focusing on what is in the basket. The rose was freshly picked and it had petels flowing out in all directions. I trail my finger across the edges of the petals, feeling the petals was the favorite thing I do when I see flowers, they have a certain feel that’s different from anything else. I put the rose back down and pet the wolf a little liking the tooce of it. I wonder what Sebastián’s coat feels like, was it really black? That’s kind of funny my wolf’s coat is white and his is black.

”David, may Krysabelle come with me to the pack house, where my beta and I with a couple of omegas live? My warriors have seen rogues in the Territory, we aren’t taking action right now since we just had the chasing,” Sebastián says.

My dad walks over to him, my dad towering over Sebastián. My mom was a tall as me but I guess I got more of my mom genes then his.

”You better not do anything to her or you will never see her again,” he says then walks of leaving the food alone.

”Oh my he forgot about the food, Krysabelle you need to get some things for about maybe a weekend I’m guessing because rogues there like that, I was undercover and had to be one of them to get secrets,” she says and walks over to the stove.

“Okay just call me down for dinner,” I say and leave.

I start walking up the stairs, taking in all of what has just been said. Sebastián knew instantly when he first saw me, that I was he’s mate. If I would of known that, I would of kissed him when he first came out of the bathroom. I walk into my room and get a duffel bag and stuff clothes into it. I get on my bed and lay down waiting for dinner. I stare up at the ceiling, trailing the lines with my eyes. I here footsteps coming into my room but I ignore them. Fingertips touch the palm of my hand. Sebastián leans over me and looks down at me. 

“Is dinner ready?” I asks.

”Yes and by the way my beta is picking us up,” he says.

”I guess Red got her way, we kissed earlier,” I say being reminded about what she said.

”Also me,” he says.

”Is your fur really black or did it look that way because of the dark?” I ask.

”It’s black, I can’t wait until we can go running together,” he says.

”What do I need to do exactly?” I ask as we walk out of the room.

”Not much but we’ll be running in human form in the morning then some weights,” he says.

“Oh okay but when do we actually get to run with each other? I want to know what it feels like,” I say.

”The next full moon which is next week, so I think since it’s going to be your first time I’m going to give you pain killers for the pain it won’t hurt as much as it would,” he says.

”Wait how is that supposed to work because you turned into a wolf last night and that wasn’t the full moon,” I say.

”We can turn at any time we want after we turn on the first time,” he says.

We have a very quiet dinner then we leave.
