I wake up to my cat walking on top of me.

”Oh my god Leo you didn’t have to do that because you’re hungry,” I say.

I get out of bed and go downstairs, I see my dad in the kitchen cooking. I go by the back door and grab Leo’s food. I pour him some out and before he eats he head bumps my leg.

”Looks like Leo is in a good mood today,” my father says.

”Yah, what are you making,” I say as I look at him.

”Eggs, why did you get home so late?” he asks.

”I got lost after I got off work,” I lie.

”Okay I was just wondering, I was worried last night and I saw that you got new tires for your truck so you don’t have to lie,” he says.

”I was going to buy you some too but I didn't have enough money for you too,” I lie.

”Hurry and get dressed,” he says.

I go upstairs and go through my closet, it’s seems like I have nothing to wear.

”Ugh, Why?” I say to myself.

I decided te wear my art club tee and some leggings with boots. I start to walk down the stairs slowly, I hear people talking in the living room. 

“David if she still alive I can help her,” a women says to my dad.

”No she hasn’t shown any signs of being a monster like you,” my dad says.

Wow I wouldn’t think he is like that to women.

”She’ll have a mate, someone to care for her when she’s sick and will never leave her, he is probably an omega but it’s still a mate,” the women says.

A lightbulb idea hits me, what if she’s is a werewolf? What if I tell her he’s an alpha even though I don’t believe it.

I walk down the rest of the stairs loudly to make my presence known to them. I walk into my room with a women that is blond with a little tan that has blue eyes like waves flowing out from the center of her eye.

”Hey dad, is this your new girlfriend?” I ask.

”No just a friend,” my dad.

”Well I need to talk to her anyways, I won’t allow a women her age stay here with out me saying something to her,” I say and walk over to the couch and get my book bag.

They whisper to each other then my dad leaves the room and the women comes up to me.

”So whatever you name is, you know all about the werewolf thing don’t you? Do you know who is the Luna of the pack in this area?” I ask.

”Sebastián Rodríeguez, doesn’t have a mate,” she says.

”Are you sure because he was the one who caught me, now I need to go to school, I have art club. Can you tell my dad that I’m going to art club?” I say.

”Yes, Luna,” she says.

”Don’t you dare say anything about me being Luna to my dad either if you want to be on my good side,” I say and leave.

I go and start my truck seeing if it okay because I wasn’t the one who brought it home. Thank god it start I pull out of my driveway and head down the street to my best friends house. It’s about two miles away from my house but it only take about two minutes. Once I get there, she isn’t outside so I honk the horn as long as I can. She comes running out of the house screaming at me to stop. I stop honking and start laughing at her. She gets in the passenger seat and gives me a serious look, which is really funny.

”Oh my god stop laughing why are you so happy today even though you just honked at me,” she says as she buckled up.

”My dad new girlfriend hates me and I was kissed last night,” I blurt out, I didn’t mean two say those last words.

”Shut up by who?” she asks.

“His name is Sebastián he’s in college we only went out for a coffee, he kissed me good night and it was pretty good,” I say lying about some parts of it.

”No doing anything more,” she says.

”I’m waiting until marriage I don’t want to be like my dad, alone and with a child,” I say.

We pull up to the school and it already is packed how? Natalie and I get out of the truck and get our things and head into the school. We part ways to go to our lockers, I go to my locker and open it. What surprises me is that it’s all organized and it has a box on top of my books filled with things. I take the box and look inside it. The box isn’t really a box it’s a basket. There’s a dark red rose, a note, boxes of candy, a small stuffed animal that is a wolf which makes me laugh a little this has to be Sebastián. I guess he has kind of grown onto me. 

“Who’s that from?” My friend asks and I jump.

”Oh it’s from Sebastián,” I say.

”Good thing we have study hall we can look threw this,” she says.

”I’m only going threw it not you, I’ll give you some candy later,” I say moving the basket away from her.

”Ugh, I’m having those sweet tarts though,” she says.

I close my locker and we walk to our study hall in the gym. I set the basket down and take the note the basket.

The Note:

Dear Krysabelle,

I know you don’t know everything but you are the future Luna of the Timber Pack. You are a hybrid and many will say that you should be an omega but your a Luna and don’t let anyone take that away from you. I will warn you that your wolf will speak to you with no warning so just be carful have a open mind. Come meet me after school at the only other place we’re we can have something to eat and drink and not it have a lot of caffeine in it.

He wants me to go to the diner. The last time I went there was when I was fourteen and I was diagnosed with leukemia, later that day but I didn’t know it until two weeks after, I was in a coma. I passed out right after I blew out the candles I don’t remember what happened after that. I get out my phone and go to my contacts to text my dad I have to come back to look nicer than I look today.

Hey dad I don’t have work today, I’m coming home but im leaving again, I’m going to hang out with friends

Okay but I didn’t like how you treated Michelle, she’s your mother and I won’t be home once you get out of school I have work 

Once I read the text from him, I turn of my phone and grab the box from Natalie so she won’t take anything else. She looks at me weird for a second then shakes it off and starts talking to Coach Nicki. I put the basket in front of me and place the note back down in it. Now I know how Michelle knew about the whole werewolf thing, she my freaking mother. Why did she finally come back today? I grab my phone and turn it back on and start texting my dad again 

I’m sorry can I have her phone number so I can say that to her

I lied while texting that, I’m not going to say sorry. What should I say sorry for? He sends me a phone number and I start texting her.

So I found out you are my mother but may I ask why did you leave us?

I wait there tapping my foot, it’s a habit when I’m waiting for something.

I left because I didn’t think you survive the change and that would of never happened if your wolf didn’t see another wolf but somehow you did survive the change 

I haven’t went threw the change when I was fourteen I had Acute Myelogenous Leukemia and I survived it. I only just recently saw a wolf and my wolf hasn’t talked to me because of you, I don’t even know what her voice is even like, Sebastián is going to help me threw the change 

Thats wonderful but if you didn’t go threw the change how did Sebastián catch you?

I was wondering in the woods after work, I go to a certain spot each time before I take a test I watched the females go by and Sebastián was ahead of all the males but then he stop and looked at me, he took me back to the pack house and we figured out that I was a hybrid which I didn’t believe any of this at first but it must be real why would you say something like me being a mate to omega but on the part me being a mate to omega you were wrong.

I don’t answer back and I don’t even look at my phone for rest of school.

I drive home and head upstairs to pick out something. I go threw half of my closet and I still haven’t found anything.

“Ugh he won’t care as long as it’s you, that all he wants” a voice says in my head.

“Who are you?” I ask.

”I’m your wolf Red and I’m white as snow, surprising right, because I have white fur but my name is red” the voice says.

”Well then what shall I wear since you know everything,” I say.

“That shirt about a concert that you went to and the leggings that you are wearing and keep the boots,” she says.

I grab the shirt and change into it, I grab a little purse from my closet and stuff my wallet and phone in it. Then I walk down the stairs and get in my truck and I start heading to the diner.
