Storm Coast Pack Series : Chasing Colors

Her alarm blared in her ears through her headphones. She had only been asleep for about two hours. Her nerves kept her up till exactly 3:46 am. She got up with a groan. Today was not her day. Shes going to a new highschool on the first dah of her Junior year. Storm Coast High to be exact. The highest academic passing students in the state of Washington. She turns off her music and starts her day with her outfit.After, she grabs her bag and phone and heads to the bus stop. She stood there shivering. There were also a few other teens there but they seem un effected by the cold. She noticed both boys standing there had muscle shirts on and were more fit than any of the kids at her previous school. She gulped knowing this was going to be a long day. When the bus pulls up she voluntarily got on last with out saying a word. As soon as she stepped onto the bus she coul feel the burning lazers from everybody's eyes on her. She sighs again. To make matters worse she decided to sit in the very back. More time for people to stare. Everybody she looked at or glanced at was very fit. She didn't understand why. Was everybody on the track team or something. She'd do a bit of digging once she got used to the school. She finally plopped into the last seat. She was suddenly greeted with a hand in her face and a loud voice "Hi, you must be the new girl. Im Ruby". Jade jumps at the sudden greeting and just shyly shakes Ruby's hand. The boy next to her playfully smacks Ruby's shoulder "Don't scare the new girl on her first day" he turned to Jade making her gasp. He was the hottest guy shes ever seen. She didn't know how anybody could be hotter. He held out his hand "Im Austin" he smiles when Jade shakes his hand. Jade had turned a shade of red shes never turned before and after that she sat the ride out trying to not stare at Austin. He was extremely hot- Like drop dead. She was focusing on the ground when she felt a tap on her shoulder causing her gaze to quickly snap up to the person. She then pulled out her headphones to be polite. It was Austin. He chuckles "were here" at that he turns and leaves the bus. Jade quickly got up and exited the bus. She stopped at the front of the school and gulped at the sheer size of the building. It was at least four times bigger than her last school. She finally got the courage to walk into the building, starting her first day at Storm Coast High.
