Aurora's POV
Asher's hand was wet and shivering for some reason but when I held his hand, he looked at me, and then our hands but instead of freeing my hands, he intertwined our fingers whispering something. However, because of Jannett, I wasn't able to listen to his words.
“Girl, you stay out of our matters. I don't know who you are but it is a matter between Asher and me.
Asher tightened his grip on our hands saying, “Get a life, Mrs. Deanna. I don't want to upset my girl because of you.”
“Asher,” Jannett attempted to say something, however, I smiled tightly at her saying, “Please, excuse us. We have to go back to our resort.”
I walked away taking Asher along with me. I could sense Jannett getting pissed off but for the first time, I wasn't getting scared of the outcome. I was happy
