Addie tried dodging her soon-to-be ex-girlfriend, only
Drake didn’t consider herself an ex. In fact, Drake had been persistent in
trying to get in touch with her and trying to come by the office to see her.
Now she needed to phone Drake and make arrangements to get her car back.
Picking up the phone, she headed to the ladies’ room to make the call.
“Hey, baby. I knew you’d see the light.”
“Drake, I’m not calling to talk to you. I just need to
make arrangements to get my car back.”
