"Let me introduce myself again Golden Child, I am Queen Jung Yu-Mi of the Goryeo Dynasty and Lady of the Jung Household. Starting today, you'll be staying within my household as part of the Jung clan.." Yu-Mi bowed once more to make herself more approachable for Jimin. After being dragged through the hallways by the Queen herself, he opened his eyes and found himself facing a lively sight of both green, blue and pink, a color he hadn't seen often in Seoul. He couldn't avert his eyes from it because by looking at it was enough to relieve stress while a gentle breeze caressed his cheeks. His lips formed an "O" shape when he saw a bird with majestically purple feathers and long tail. "Caught your attention?" The Queen chuckled to his reaction. She looked to his direction, gestured a slight movement and the bird immediately flew to her fingers. Oh, how beautiful the feathers reflect the sunlight. It's feathers gleamed intense purple and blue. He slowly approached the bird that's sitting upon the Queen's fingertips and attempted to caress it with care. Knowing by fact that birds can be sensitive, instead of moving away from his tips, the bird instantly flew to the top of his head. "Whoa! W-what?! Did I do something wrong?" He panicked to the sudden action. "This creature is a Paradise Flycatcher, we name him Bora, rarely seen these days until my husband decided to purchase one from a merchant for its beauty and value. In my opinion, I'd rather set him free into the wild to live his life to the fullest." "Why can't you set him free? You're the Queen." "You're the Queen, huh? I thought that as well. But in this dynasty, the Queens of the Dynasty doesn't show matter in politics. We can participate, but most nobles most often rely on the King. He's the one with power, whatever he desires, it become his. To him, I'm just a tool to induce his status and power, including Hee-Sun." "So that makes me..." "Oh no no no Golden Child. You are not his property. You are called down from the heavens, mourning for our pain, you aren't called down to become property, but to act as our only hope and light to fight off the shadows. With your power alone, we'll be able to create peace to this world." While caressing the bird that's sitting upon Jimin's head, "But I don't know if I'll be of help. I was suddenly dragged to this world, and you all have been assuming that I am the Golden Child with the power to annihilate the shadows. I'm just a normal human being who only knows how to pop joints, sing, and things." He reiterated pouting his lips. "Maybe it's just not the time. When time comes, your power will eventually come to life. We, er- you just have to be patient." "Eventually...By the way, Your Majesty. Please call me Jimin, being called the Golden Child sounded a bit overwhelming." "Oh no, I mustn't, you are blessed and pure to these lands. You deserve to be called in highly status." "Please, as a Golden Child...Just call me Jimin." "T-then...J-Jimin." "That's more like it." He finally smiled. As Bora flew away from Jimin, they kept walking until he spotted a unfamiliar figure walking their way. A tall man wearing a green hanbok and grasping a novel in his hand, walking along the hallways with a smile on his face that seems to light up the mood. Who is he? He called out, "There you are! I've looking all over for you. I wanted to tell you about this amazing story that I've just finished...Oh?" He stopped in his tracks to make eye contact with Jimin in curiosity. "Perfect timing, my son! Golden Child, I-I mean Jimin, meet my beautiful and shining son Jung Hoseok." Hoseok smiled like the sunshine, he greeted and bowed to Jimin with respect, "Is this the rumored Golden Child that's been spreading around the dynasty Mother?" "Indeed my son." His smile was dazzling, Jimin couldn't avert himself away from him. His black raven hair an beautiful eyes illuminating beneath the sunlight. Jimin stammered before he greets him. "He-Hello, Your Highness. I hope we can get along with each other as friends," Jimin nodded timidly. Hoseok smiled and suddenly spoke holding out his book. "Do you like to read?" "I don't read that often..." "Ah, son... Do you know where your brothers are? I want them to meet Jimin." The Queen asked, placing her palms upon Jimin's shoulders. Hoseok quirks a brow and replied. "I know that Jungkook is somewhere in the household training his sword skills, but for Yoongi hyung, knowing him, he's probably out wanting some peace and quiet." "That child Yoongi...Haaa, well at least you'll get the chance to meet the youngest son of the family. Son, why won't you and Jimin run along and find your little brother for a little greeting? I want all four of you, including Jimin to get to know each other a little more." The Queen favored as she gently pushed Jimin's shoulders into Hoseok's range. "Of course Mother, about the book." "I'll listen to your stories at breakfast time, don't worry. Just enjoy your time with Jimin, I had something that I must do." The Queen turns around and left the two alongside her servants. As her footsteps slowly faints into the wind, Jimin rotate himself to face Hoseok with innocent eyes, "Well, shall we find my little brother?" Jimin excitingly nodded his head as if he's ready for a game play. Hoseok proceeded walking straight in the hallways while Jimin followed behind his shoulders in baby steps. "So Jimin is alright?" "Y-yes. Being called the Golden Child makes me feel quite uncomfortable. J-just Jimin...Yeah Jimin, just Jimin is okay." The distance between Jimin and Hoseok became a little awkward until Hoseok decided to break the silence with a question. "So...Did you like the household? It's rather spacious but it's fun to hang around, especially in the library. This book that I've finished reading is one of the best, about a poor man who fell in love with a beautiful woman who's apparently a moon goddess. They both fell in love, however, ended in conflict when the man died of an incurable disease." "Well that's sad. There's no happy ending to the story?" "Not all stories end happily, but this story has a good development though, that's what made the plot worth reading. You should read it sometime." Hoseok holding his hands along with the book behind his back, turning to Jimin. "Hyung! Hoseok hyung! Can we train together? I'll show you what I'm really made of because I just invented a new technique!" The young male ran through the hallways and tripped over his footing as he takes in the sight of Jimin. "Um...Ahem, Jimin. Let me introduce you to my little brother, Jungkook. The youngest son of the family." He cleared his throat to the man who's currently face-planted to the ground. Jungkook stood upon his footing and traveled his gaze to stare at Jimin. He squinted, "Who's the kid Hoseok hyung?" "J-Jungkook, this is the Golden Child from the prophecy, Jimin." "This kid? He's the Golden Child? Wow, I was expecting someone with a more wise outlook, but apparently it's just a small mochi kid." "Yah! Jungkook, show some respect!" Reacting to his rude attitude, Jimin attempted to jeer at him. I inhaled and let it all out with a tightened jaw, "Yah...I'm only 22 years old, show some respect to me. Not only because I'm the Golden Child, but as a person who's older than you." "22?..." Hoseok and Jungkook freaked out of nowhere after Jimin revealed his age, "What? Is something wrong?" "No, I was surprised." Hoseok answered, "From what I've read in ancient documents, they say that heavenly beings tend to be over 1000 years old." "Well not this man." "You're 22?...Well sorry." Jungkook apologized with a smirk. He turned to his older brother and brought out an extra wooden sword. He asked, "Can you spar with me hyung?" Some Golden Child my ass. What I've found is some ugly ass rice cake. At the moment he brought out his wooden sword, a flashback was brought back into mind. Bringing back the memory of the mysterious swordsman slaying the shadow. He shook his head out of his memory and attempted to speak out. "Oh...Hoseok." "Hm?" Hoseok looked over to Jimin, "You wouldn't know of a swordsman with black hair at shoulder length and red robe, have you?" "Shoulder length, black-hair wearing red robe? Ah, you mean Yoongi hyung?" "He's Yoongi?" He repeated, "You've already met him? May I ask where?" "Oh...He's actually the one who save my life from the shadows. And the one who criticized me. I was wondering if you know any of his whereabouts? I want to send my thanks." "Your Highnesses, Golden Child. Your breakfast is ready to be served." A servant came walking and bowing to remind the three of the men of breakfast finally being served. Just after the servant reminded the three, Hoseok and Jungkook stared at Jimin. "Knowing him, he might be eating in the forest. After breakfast, we'll go search for him together." "He doesn't eat with his family?" He said puzzled. The brothers looked to each other and then faced Jimin to answer his question, "His relationship with us is quite complicated. He's not the type to get along with others. Well...except for Jungkook." "Hoseok hyung, let's go. I'm hungry, we wouldn't want Father to throw a fit." "Right. Jimin before we search for Yoongi, we should fill our stomachs first." "Okay."
