This book is basically about a girl, Emily, who has problems fitting in the new town she finds herself in. She moves together with her mum to a new city after the death of her father. It was a crucial time in her life when she didn't want to be accepted, she wanted to just be left alone. But sadly, it's a total of opposite she gets when the popular guy takes a fancy to her and suddenly her life becomes a newsletter to others, but things weren't what she expected. She just fell back into depression, thinking about what had happened to her that caused them to move and just when everything seems to be going wrong, she finds a reason to remain happy and give this new life a chance. She is teased that her life, her goals and ambitions are nothing but a dream. She was teased that all she could do was to keep dreaming, it was supposed to be offensive but that's exactly what she did.
