My naive nature

Waking up on the nightmare that has been tormenting for the past three days. I couldn't fathom the reason for the continuous nightmare. I looked at my body and I can see goose all over my body. My room is very cold and I'm still sweating. I can remember my adventure yester-night, I went for a birthday party, I drank wine but my instinct was telling me something is different about the wine, the smell and even the colour. "maybe it's an alcohol" I guessed. I drank little out of the wine leaving the remaining on the table. I began to feel dizzy, my male friend came to me and tapped my shoulder. my eyes was dim. I could see one of his friend at his back. I shouted at him and told him "What did you put inside my drink? He began to stammer "no.......no.......nothing, Dave only gave.....gave me little alcohol and a wine. I mixed it together and gave it to you. That's..... that's only what I did" . I mumbled 'why' "I'm sorry" he said. Most of the times, Martins is always been forced by his friends to do what is not right and innocently, he would follow suit."Martins" I called him. "Yeah should I take you home?" he asked "maybe please get me a taxi to take home, I'm tired" I told him . He rushed out to get a cab for the both of us because his house is 200 meters farther from mine. He came back after a few minutes and told me he has found a cab. The birthday girl, Alice came to me and asked me "what is wrong with you? "I have no time to talk" I said, she asked again "Are you going now" I said yes and she said she would phone me later in the day. I put on my shoes, I couldn't get myself, my eyes are dim I can't see clearly. I began to stagger, martins was my support, he held me by my waist and my hand crossing over his shoulder. We walked together to where the cab was parked. He opened the door and we both entered the cab. "phew" I heaved a sigh of relief as I got home staggering towards the gate, at a time I fell. I looked at my back and saw martins walking very fast with his bag pack. I stood up, brought my phone and called the gateman and told him to come and open the gate. When I got to the living room, the clock struck and I looked at it's direction. "Wow it's already 9pm, I'm late". I said to myself. I got to my room, flung the door open, I put off clothes and went to shower. I slammed the door and locked it. My parents were not at home, that gave me the opportunity to stay longer at the party, although I had my mother informed about it. I slept like never before, I was brought back to reality by my alarm, it's 9:30 I woke up very late. I remembered I set it the previous day while I was thinking and playing with the clock. someone was at the door, I can hear a knock. I got up, my leg held me back. "ouch" I cried, I got up, walking like a one legged girl. I opened the door. "what"my heart beating fast like a drum, it's my uncle. "Hi Aneesha" I looked at his eyeballs which showed he was enthusiastic. I looked away , I knew the dress I wore wasn't decent, it's showing some part of my chest. slowly, I moved my hand and covered my chest with the cloth. "come on girl ain't you excited to see me? he asked me, "hmm hmm" I said in a tone of positive affirmation, " When did you arrive? I asked him looking at my feet. " late yester-night and I'm going in the evening. "Dad and mom is around we came home together". he's fond of calling my mum his mother. I was surprised because I didn't know when they arrived. " Are you surprised, probably because we came in quietly in order not to make any noise, it was a surprise visit right". He asked. "meet me downstairs". He said. I went back to my room, sat down on the bed, picked up my phone and started surfing though the internet. Few minutes later I decided to call Alice, but the call wasn't going through. Then I got up from my bed and went to take my bath. After 25 minutes, I went to the sitting room, I met my family eating, my food was covered on the table next to my uncle's seat. They didn't keep the law when eating. I can hear them chuckling while in the sitting room, my mother sighted me and she cried "Aaw, my darling". I moved to the dining room, she flunged her arms opened, I hugged her, my dad was giving a questioning eyes telling me I haven't greeted him even though he isn't talking. I went to him "good morning dad" I smiled and I hugged him, I sat down and began to eat. I had no appetite, so I only ate little out of the food. I left my food covered in the table for my room and on getting there, my phone was ringing. I picked up the call, it's Alice. " Hello Aneesha, I saw your call" she said. "Yes I just wanted to greet you and thank you for yesterday. I enjoyed the party". I said to her, I can't hear her voice, there had been a long pause, "I'll come over to your place later in the evening". I was about to hang up when she broke the silence, she called me "Aneesha, I have something to tell you". "is everything alright" I asked "yes" she said. After that we ended the conversation.
