Sofia
The moment we step out of the wedding venue, the cool night air wraps around us like a blessing. The world feels softer somehow — quieter, gentler — as if even the night understands that everything has changed.
I smile as the cheers from inside grow even louder. I didn’t think they could cheer any louder than they already were, but it seems I was wrong.
Today has been amazing. It was made even better when my father left. He made an excuse, telling the Don he needed to attend to business. I swear, I let out a massive breath of relief, and finally, I could let myself go without worrying about Papa. Luca noticed my change in mood, and he kissed me softly, telling me that I never have to worry about anything again.
I believed him because I knew Luca would never lie to me.
Lorna danced with me, telling me how proud she was. She then said that she’d been staying with a friend tonight so Luca and I could be alone. I hugged her tightly because I love her so much!
Our car waits at the curb, sleek and black, decorated with a simple white ribbon. The driver opens the door, and Luca helps me inside, gathering my dress so it won’t snag. I do not want to ruin this dress!
The door closes, and suddenly it’s just us.
Husband and wife.
I turn to Luca, unable to stop the smile spreading across my face. “We’re married.”
He leans back, eyes warm and full of something deep. “We are.”
The car pulls away, and the city lights blur past the windows. Luca reaches for my hand, lifting it to his lips and pressing a slow kiss to my knuckles.
“How are you feeling?” he asks softly.
“Happy,” I whisper. “Really, really happy.”
He smiles — that rare, soft smile he only ever gives me. “Good. That’s all I want.”
We talk quietly the whole ride home — laughing about Hammer’s terrible dancing, about Marnie crying during the vows, about his father pretending he wasn’t emotional even though he absolutely was. Every time I laugh, Luca’s eyes soften, like the sound is something precious.
By the time the car turns onto our private road, my heart feels full to the brim. This is it. I’m a married woman, about to step foot in her marital home for the first time.
Our home comes into view, glowing warmly in the night.
Our home.
The word still feels unreal.
I’m nineteen years old, and I’m married to the son of a Mafia Don. Not just any Mafia Don – Draven Vidal. The most infamous Mafia Don of our time! A man who could kill me if I put on toe out of line.
But I’m happy. So happy I could burst!
The car stops, and before I can reach for the door, Luca is already out, already opening mine, already offering his hand.
“Come here,” he murmurs.
I place my hand in his, and he sweeps me up into his arms in one smooth motion.
I squeak, laughing. “Luca!”
“It’s tradition,” he says, grinning. “And I’m not skipping a single one tonight.”
He carries me up the steps to the front door, my dress spilling over his arms, my veil brushing his shoulder. I wrap my arms around his neck, laughing into his chest as he nudges the door open with his foot.
Two security guards stand nearby, waiting.
Luca doesn’t set me down.
“Full perimeter,” he orders calmly. “No one gets near the house. No one.”
“Yes, sir.”
Only when the guards move into position does Luca step inside and gently kick the door closed behind us.
The house falls quiet.
Warm.
Safe.
Ours.
He looks at me, his expression softening into something that makes my breath catch.
“Welcome home, Mrs. Vidal.”
My heart flutters. “I love the sound of that.”
He doesn’t put me down.
Not once.
He carries me through the hallway, past the living room, past the kitchen, up the stairs — every step slow and deliberate, as if he wants to savor every second.
I rest my head against his shoulder, feeling the steady rise and fall of his breathing, the warmth of him, the strength of his arms around me.
“Luca?” I whisper.
“Yes, sweetheart?”
“Thank you… for today. For everything.”
He kisses the top of my head. “You don’t thank me. Not for anything.”
My chest tightens with emotion.
When we reach the master bedroom, he pushes the door open with his foot and steps inside. The room is softly lit, warm and inviting, the new bed perfectly made, the air smelling faintly of fresh linen and roses.
He sets me down gently, his hands lingering at my waist.
For a moment, we just stand here — husband and wife — the weight of the day settling around us like a warm blanket.
Luca brushes a strand of hair from my face, his touch featherlight.
“Tonight,” he murmurs. “I just want to hold my wife.”
My breath trembles.
There is no rush.
No pressure.
No expectation.
Just love.
Just safety.
Just us.
He takes my hands, lifting them to his lips.
“I’ve waited all day for this,” he whispers. “A moment alone with you.”
I smile, feeling warmth bloom in my chest. “Me too.”
He leans his forehead against mine, his voice soft and full of emotion. “Come here, Sofia.”
I smile and walk into his arms. I have never felt safer than I do when Luca holds me.
But I know we’re not just going to hold each other tonight. This is our wedding night, and I know Luca will want to consummate the marriage. I’m nervous. I won’t lie. But this man is my husband, and there is no one better to give my first time to.
I pull away from Luca and exhale shakily, fingers twisting in the fabric of her skirt. “Do you—” My voice hitches. “Do you want me to—?”
“No,” Luca murmurs, catching my wrist before I can reach for the buttons at the back of my neck. He brings my knuckles to his lips, pressing a slow kiss there. “Let me.”
Luca steps behind me, and the first button gives way beneath his fingers, then the next, each one a small surrender. I bite my lower lip as the dress pools at my feet, leaving me in nothing but lace and moonlight.
Luca moves around me, standing there, looking me up and down. I shiver, but not from cold. The pulse flutters at my throat, fast as a trapped bird.
Luca traces the line of my collarbone with his thumb, watching my breath catch when he brushes the delicate strap of my chemise.
“You’re shaking,” he murmurs, though he doesn’t stop. “Don’t be nervous, Sofia. I won’t hurt you.”
“I know,” I whisper.
Luca smirks as he unclasps my bra. I swallow hard as the lace slides from my shoulders like water.
“I’ve never done this before.” I don’t know why I said that when Luca already knows. But it slipped out, as if I was trying to tell him that I might disappoint him.
“I know, baby.”
“I don’t know what I’m doing,” I admit.
“Just go by instinct, Sofia. This isn’t the first time we’ve touched each other.” He kisses the words from my lips, slow enough to let me taste the promise in them. My hands flutter at his chest before settling, uncertain but willing, against the crisp fabric of his shirt.
Luca’s chest rises and falls as I unbutton his shirt, pulling it from the waistband of his trousers. God, his body is everything! I lean in and kiss her chest. Luca groans, and I smile against the silken skin. I clutch at his waist as he unpins my hair, letting it cascade down my back.
Luca cups my cheek, and I look into his beautiful blue eyes. I am so lost in him that I don’t know if I’ll ever find my way back.
“You’re so beautiful.” He tells me, pressing his forehead to mine and rocking me gently. “What are you doing to me?” He whispers.
I don’t know what to say to that. So, I say nothing.
I squeal and laugh when Luca lifts me bridal style. God, he holds me as if I weigh nothing at all. He makes it look so effortless.
The bed is an island in the center of the room, its sheets cool when Luca eases me down. He takes his time stripping off his own clothes, letting me watch the way his shoulders move, the flex of his arms as he undoes his cufflinks.
I swallow hard, eyes wide when he stands before me completely naked. Yes, I’ve seen Luca naked before. I’ve touched his coc.k, felt it against me, but this seems different. I’m practically drooling!
Luca climbs onto the bed, leaning over me. My breath hitches when Luca’s hands finally find my bare waist, the warmth of his palms branding my skin. Luca doesn’t rush; he lets me feel the weight of him as he settles between my parted thighs, the heat of his body pressing me into the mattress without urgency. My fingers tremble against his shoulders, but I don’t pull away. Instead, I arch into him, my body learning the shape of his in increments.
“Tell me,” he murmurs against my throat, lips brushing the frantic pulse there. “Tell me what you want. Tell your husband what you want.”
My stomach shakes with nerves, but I’m so wet for him.
I exhale, the sound shaky but sure. “You.” The word is barely a whisper, but Luca catches it, rewards it with a slow drag of his mouth down my collarbone. “I want you, Luca. I want my husband to make love to me.”
My back arches when his teeth graze the swell of my breast, a gasp caught between surprise and pleasure. Luca smiles against my skin, pleased by my responsiveness, by the way my hips lift instinctively toward his.
I gasp as Luca slowly removes my stockings and then my panties, baring me completely to his gaze. Luca takes his time, mapping me with hands and mouth—the dip of my waist, the softness of my stomach, the way my thighs tense when he traces the inside with his fingertips. Every touch is a question, every sigh an answer. By the time his fingers find my slick heat, I’m already trembling, my nails scoring lightly down his back.
Luca’s fingers curl into me, slow and deliberate, testing the give of my body as I gasp against his shoulder. My hips jerk once, involuntarily, and Luca chuckles darkly, pressing a kiss to the damp hollow of my throat. “Easy, piccola,” he murmurs, easing another finger inside me. I whimper because it’s almost too much. “Breathe.”
I try, but my breath fractures when he crooks his fingers just so, a sharp cry escaping me before I bite my lip.
“That’s it, baby.” He whispers.
My eyes roll to the back of my head. I know he’s trying to stretch me out so that it won’t hurt as much when he slides inside me. But he’s going to make me cu.m at this rate!
When my thighs begin to tremble, Luca withdraws his fingers, ignoring my whimper of protest. “Patience,” he chides, swiping his damp fingers over my c**t in a slow circle that makes my hips jerk. “You’ll cu.m when I’m inside you. Do you understand?”
My eyes fly open at that, wide and dark with want. “Yes, Sir.”
Luca growls, and I gasp when he catches my mouth in a searing kiss. “I need you now.” He breathes against my mouth. “I’m so hard for you.”
I groan. “I’m so wet for you. Please, Luca. Take me.”
He kisses me again as he guides himself to my entrance, the head of his coc.k nudging against my slick heat. I tense—instinct, not refusal—and he gentles the kiss, swallowing my sharp inhale as he pushes forward, slow, until the resistance gives way.
The moment Luca breaches me, my entire body stiffens—not with pain, but with the overwhelming sensation of being stretched impossibly full. A small scream escapes me, but it instantly turns into a moan. My nails dig into Luca’s shoulders, my breath hitching as he pauses, letting me adjust to the unfamiliar pressure.
“Are you okay, baby?”
“Yeah,” I nod and lick my lips. “You’re so big, Luca. I feel so full of you.”
Luca smirks and kisses me again, slow and deep, as if he could siphon the tension from my body through my mouth alone.
"Breathe," he murmurs against my lips, his voice rougher than before.
When I obey, my chest rising beneath his, he rocks his hips forward another fraction, seating himself deeper. The stretch burns, but beneath it’s something else—a heat that coils low in my belly, spreading with every shallow thrust. Luca doesn't rush. He moves in increments, each one measured, each one drawing a soft sound from my throat. By the time he’s fully sheathed inside me, my thighs are trembling around his hips, my body clinging to him.
God, what the hell?
Is it supposed to feel like this?
So good and painful all at once?
Luca brushes a curl from my damp forehead, his thumb tracing the arch of my brow. "Still with me?" he asks, his voice thick with restraint.
I nod, my fingers flexing against his back, and he rewards me with a slow, rolling thrust that drags a moan from my lips. The sound surprises me, and my eyes fly open, wide and startled—but Luca only smirks, repeating the motion with deliberate precision. God, that feels good!
"That's it," he coaxes, his breath hot against my ear. "Let me hear you."
And I do. With every stroke, I unravel a little more—my gasps turning to whimpers, my hips lifting to meet his.
Luca lets me set the pace, my body guiding his until the tension melts into something hotter, something desperate. When my thighs tighten around him, my breath coming in shallow pants, I know that I’m close.
“Luca,” I whimper. “I’m so close. Please, Sir, please let me cu.m.”
Luca growls deep in his throat. He slips a hand between us, his thumb circling my c**t in time with his thrusts, and he watches as my back arches off the bed, my cry muffled against his shoulder.
“That’s it, Sofia. Let me see you cu.m for me. Now!”
“Luca!” I scream his name, the demand sending me right over the edge into a powerful orgas.m. My eyes roll, my back arches, and my thighs crush Luca’s waist.
Luca groans, pressing his forehead to mine as I shudder through the aftershocks, his own control fraying at the edges.
When I finally go limp beneath him, Luca doesn’t stop. He keeps moving, slow and deep, chasing the pleasure coiling tight in his gut.
My eyes flutter open, hazy with satisfaction, then widen as I realize he isn’t done. “Luca—” His name is a breathless plea, but he only grins, rolling his hips in a way that makes her gasp.
What is he trying to do to me?
“You think I’d leave you like this?” he murmurs, dragging his lips down my throat. “Halfway satisfied?”
What?!
My breath hitches as Luca’s pace quickens, my body still sensitive from my climax. But I don’t protest—instead, my legs wrap tighter around his waist, my hips lifting to meet his thrusts. Luca groans, his hands tightening on my hips as he drives into me, the bedframe creaking softly beneath us.
The rhythm between us changes—no longer cautious exploration, but something hotter, hungrier. Luca’s thrusts grow deeper, each one drawing a choked sound from my throat as I cling to him, my body arching to take more.
“I can feel you.” Luca hisses between his teeth as he pounds into me so fast that I can’t keep up with him. He tells me that he can feel the moment my pleasure crests again, my muscles fluttering around him, but he doesn’t slow—just grips my hips harder and chases his own release with a growl that vibrates against my skin.
When he cum.s, it’s with my name bitten into my shoulder, his body shuddering as he spills inside me. Emotion washes over me. I’m not sad, but for some reason, the tears fall. I swallow hard, stroking Luca’s hair as he lies his head on my shoulder.
For a long moment, we stay like that—Luca’s weight braced on his forearms, my legs still wrapped around him, both of us breathing hard in the aftermath. The scent of se.x and orange blossoms hangs heavy in the air.
Slowly, Luca pulls out of me, rolling onto his back beside me. I make a small, protesting noise at the loss, my fingers twitching toward him before I catch myself.
Luca smirks, catching my wrist and tugging me against his side. I go willingly, my body molding to his with a tentative ease that makes something possessive coil in my chest.
My fingers trace idle patterns over his sternum, avoiding the scar that lies there but lingering on the sweat-slick skin. “Was that…” I hesitate, biting her lip.
Luca turns his head, catching my lip between his teeth in a gentle tug before releasing it. “Was that what?” His voice is rough, still edged with the remnants of pleasure, but his thumb brushes my cheekbone with surprising tenderness.
I exhale, my fingers stilling against his chest. “Was that what you expected?” I finish softly, my gaze flicking away before returning to his. “I know this wasn’t your first time, but it was mine. I didn’t want to disappoint you. But I understand if you’ve had better.”
Luca studies me for a long moment, then huffs a laugh, rolling onto his side to face me fully. He traces the curve of my hip with his palm, his touch proprietary but gentle. “Better? There was never anyone better than you, Sofia. What you just gave me was everything.” He admits, his voice low. “You’re fuckin.g perfect.”
The words land somewhere deep in my chest, warming me from the inside out. I hadn’t realized I’d been holding my breath until it left me in a rush, my body relaxing into the sheets.
Luca’s hand slides up my side, calloused fingers skimming the dip of my waist, and I shiver—not from cold, but from the sheer novelty of being touched like this. Like I’m something to be savored.
“You make me feel so special.” I smile.
“You are special, Sofia. You’re my wife, and that means everything. Now, why don’t you sleep for a while? We need to be up at five.”
Five?
It’s already past one o’clock!
I furrow my brow. “Why?”
Luca smirks. “Because first thing in the morning, we’re going on our honeymoon.”
“What?” I gasp and laugh. “I thought we were going to a cabin in the woods. Why would we need to be up so early for that?”
Luca chuckles. “Oh, my beautiful wife. We’re not going to any cabin. But you’re gonna love the surprise I have in store for you.”
“Okay,” I laugh. “So, tell me where we’re going?”
Luca taps my nose with his finger. “Now, that would be telling.”
“You’re not going to tell me?”
“And ruin the surprise?” He smiles. “Not a chance. Now, let’s get some sleep.”
I’ve never had a good surprise before. Surprises always make me nervous. But as I lie in my husband’s arms, his arms wrapped tightly around me, I know this surprise is going to be a good one.
I, Sofia Vidal, am going to have a good life now.
I can dream, can’t I?
