LATE NIGHTS WITH A GHOST.
Lavender's POV "Avan! Avan!" Mark called out. I walked angrily out of the bar, tears filling my eyes. I kept sobbing. I couldn't hold it in anymore. I could hear his footsteps behind me. "Avan, please, just listen to me." For some unknown reason, I stopped and turned back to face him. He looked even more pathetic than I had imagined. "Listen to you?" I asked in a hoarse voice. "You told me you were hanging out with your friends, and now I find you ridding those chicks?" "I'm sorry, Avan." He stepped closer, trying to touch me, but I instinctively moved back. "Don't you dare come near me." "Fine," he scoffed. I was taken aback. What? "What, Avan?" he snapped. "Do you want me to crawl at your feet and beg for forgiveness? If you were enough, I wouldn't have looked elsewhere. But you're not." He looked at me with pure disdain. Who the hell was this? This wasn't the Mark I knew. "You're not enough." Before I could stop myself, I slapped him across the face. The sound echoed through the empty street. "I hate you! I hate you!" I pounded my fists against his chest. I couldn't hold back the tears anymore. Just looking at him was an eyesore. I turned around and walked away. A part of me hoped he would run after me because I would have forgiven him. We had been dating for five years. Five freaking years. It hurt to see it end this way. A drop of rain landed on my face. I looked up at the sky. Dark clouds had already swallowed the night, and flashes of lightning streaked across the heavens. Then it poured. It poured heavily on me. I screamed at the top of my lungs, my voice drowning beneath the storm. My bag slipped from my arm and fell to the ground. At that moment, I wanted to disappear. I had truly loved Mark. Genuinely. But now I knew he had never loved me the same way. I was so caught up in my pain that I didn't notice someone standing beside me, shielding me from the rain with an umbrella. I slowly looked up. Under the hood stood the most beautiful person I had ever seen. His features were almost unreal. He looked kinda familiar though. I don't know, I've seen him somewhere, perhaps. "Why is an angel crying in the middle of the night?" He asked softly. I wiped my tears with the back of my hand and looked up intently at him. He had addictive golden-brown eyes, pitch-tinted black hair, a sharp jawline, and the most captivating lips. His lips curled into a smile. I quickly looked away. "I want to be left alone," I said. Looking down. "Why don't we go into the car, and you can tell me what happened?" he replied. There was something about the way he spoke that hypnotized me. I didn't even realize when I got into the car and sat down. I looked around. It was an expensive limo, and there was a driver in the front seat, probably sleeping. "What got a pretty soul crying?" he asked. I told him everything about Mark and what had happened. He shook his head. "He's a dumbass for cheating on you. He wasn't worthy of you in the first place." That was the nicest compliment anyone had ever given me. He caught me staring at his lips again. I quickly looked away, but then I felt him move closer until his lips crashed against mine. He tasted so good. His hands found my waist, pulling me closer. I wrapped my arms around his neck. I wanted to resist, but who was I kidding? Mark had already cheated on me. Why couldn't I do the same? The kiss deepened as he pulled me onto his lap. I was insanely drawn to him. How could someone desperately want a person they had just met? I didn't even know his name. I started grinding on him, slowly. I could feel him hardening beneath me,he groaned. His hands tightened around my waist… But I didn't stop, I was far gone. My panties would be soaked right now. I fumbled with his zipper, unzipped him. He broke the kiss and gave me a warning look, meaning that there was no going back now. I didn't care, I brought out his d**k,it was surprisingly massive, definitely bigger than mark's. I came down from his lap, squatting down and taking him inside my mouth, all of him. He exhaled sharply, subconsciously grabbing my hair when I started moving faster till he was close. He pulled me up and lay me down on the car seat. He took my panties off and caressed me there with his thumb, I rolled my eyes in pleasure. Mark had never made me feel this way. He replaced his thumb with his mouth, sending me to another planet. And then,he rose and thrusted inside me without a warning, I let out a soft moan, grabbing unto his shoulders like my life depended on it. While he thrust mercilessly inside me. He kept moving, I didn't know how many times I orgasmed, I lost count. Then I felt his body shook, with a loud groan, he came heavily inside me. That was the best experience I've ever had in my entire existence. When everything finally settled, he leaned back against the seat while trying to catch his breath. I sat up as well. Only then did I remember that the driver was still in the car. He looked at me with a smile. I smiled back. The silence that followed was awkward. After all, we didn't even know each other. I cleared my throat. "I'm Lavender." He smiled. "What a beautiful name for a lovely lady." Heat rose to my cheeks. "You can call me Kai," he said. "Nice name." I looked down, suddenly nervous. "Can we meet again?" He scoffed softly. "I'd really love that, but I'm too good to be true." "Huh?" Before I could process what he meant, he vanished. Like literally disappeared. Gone. As if he had never been there. Fear gripped me instantly. What? What? Where did he go? I rubbed my eyes repeatedly. This had to be some kind of prank. Or maybe I was dreaming. No. No, this was real. Leaning forward, I tapped the driver on the shoulder. He stirred awake. "Did you see the guy I was with?" I asked. The shocked look on his face made my stomach drop. "Who are you?" he demanded. "What?" "Get off my car!" He practically screamed the words. Startled, I hurried out of the limo. The door slammed shut behind me. I stood there in the pouring rain, completely confused. Wait... What just happened?
