"Yes, as soon as we are outside the house." Aaliyah said, then she pushed Ana out and took over their body and mind. Ana was in the darkest part of her own mind now, she had been here a lot, sometimes she got a warning and sometimes she didn't. She was afraid of it but she could live with it.

Aaliyah backed up against the door, and ran full force toward the window. Pushing her power out, the window exploded as she jumped out at the same time the glass burst into a million pieces. Giving Ana control as they were running through the forest.

Ana looked at her surroundings and turned to the left. She had no desire to live any longer. Her Mate all but rejected her and she didn't want to live like a rogue. She ran straight for Clear Lake, right out onto the dock and right into the water below. She closed her eyes and let herself sink down, down, until she was once again asleep. Ana had no idea that she had been followed there, but Aaliyah did and she knew who it was too. The mischievous wolf smiled as she knocked Anabella out.

Maddox told Alex to wait in the SUV, he then lit out, running behind his mate. If he were a predator she'd be dead already. She was not paying attention to where she was going or who was around her. She was running towards the boarder then she turned left running quiet fast for a human with an injured leg. She ran right off into the lake that was just inside this packs territory, and sank down. Maddox propped himself up on a tree and waited for her to resurface. He waited, and waited, and waited..... Wait how long had she been down there. Maddox jumped into the water.

" Alex!" Maddox yelled through the mind link.

" Yes Alpha." Alex said.

" Follow my sent to this big ass lake, My Mate has jump off in here. Alex she hasn't come back up yet." Maddox told him.

" Alpha how far is the lake?" He asked.

" About 5 Minutes running at a limp. I think she has broken bones in her leg and she is bleeding. I can smell the blood." Maddox told Alex.

" Alpha, you have been out of the car for over 10 minutes. If she has not surfaced she is drowning!" Alex exclaimed.

" I know, I have gone in after her. I need you on that dock when I get her. Bring our towels out of the over night bags too." Maddox said.

" Yes Alpha, Way ahead of you on that one." Alex said.

Alex had driven the SUV as far as he could, parking it out of sight being the sun was setting and the SUV was Black it would be hard to see by patrols if they came this way. It would by his Alpha some time. Maybe they can get back out without being seen. Since he had seen no one yet hopefully luck would hold out. But that didn’t make sense because they’d have to ask for the pack Alphas permission to take the girl. Alex saw the lake coming into view, it was a beautiful place but Goddess it was huge.

" Alpha I am on the dock. Do you need me to come in and help search. This is a huge ass lake." Alex asked.

" No, I have her. I will surface in just a second." Maddox said.

Maddox surfaced with Ana in his arms. Alex reached out for her. Maddox growled at his outstretched arms.

" Alpha, Please let me take her. I will help bring her on the dock, while you get out and dry off. Alpha let me help you and our Luna." Alex said.

" NO! No one is going to touch her, and Alex she is not my Luna." Maddox said, Pushing his aura out using it like a physical thing. Maddox shot up out of the water landing on his feet with his burden still cradled in his arms. He laid her unconscious body out on the dock, looking down at his mate. Her hair was covering her face, he reached down brushing the hair away. What he saw both captivated him and pissed him off. She winced as his hand touched her face though she was unconscious so he knows it hurt her. He tried to be careful, he also knew that her cheek was broken. She was beautiful, and covered in bruises. He looked her over, from head to foot. Her leg was broken probably from jumping out the fucken window. She had cuts on her, old ones, new ones. The blood he smelled was coming from her side. He carefully lifted her shirt and what he saw tipped him over the edge of his sanity. She had been cut deeply or stabbed in the side. Her landing when she jumped must have opened the wound. It wasn't even three days old he thought. He didn’t want her but no one had any business hurting her like this. He was going to kill the bastard responsible for this. He felt his control slip, his blood was boiling.

" Alpha. What has happened here?" Alex asked Maddox. He too was angry at the sight.

When Maddox Looked up his eyes were no longer Black they were... Onyx.

Maddox had lost control.

Alex fell back on his ass from the crouching position he was just in. He'd seen this wolf before, felt its rage. This was the wolf that massacred entire packs. If Maddox shifted and released the beast that hid within him there would be no hope for this pack. No one but the children would be left. Maddox even in that form harmed no innocent child. It was that one redeeming trait that gave Alex hope his Alpha could be saved. It was also the reason the Lycan Alpha King had not had him put down years ago. Making him his personal Royal Enforcer instead. Maddox could kill without loosing any sleep at night. He had to get his Alpha outta here, fast.

" Alpha?" Alex said calmly.

" We need to get the woman out of here before the person who has been holding her finds her gone and comes looking for her." Alex tried to reason with him.

" Dead men don't go looking for escaped captives. Do they Alex?" Maddox asked.

No, Alpha they do not, but if what you suspect is true we do not need to go around killing the son of the Alpha of the pack you came to help." Alex said still trying to be the voice of reason.

" Help? This Pack WILL need help Alex, but they will not be getting it from me. Because now they will need saving from me." Maddox said.

" Alpha your mate needs your help. She is in bad shape. We need to care for her first. I have a plan that might get the help she needs as well as punish those who deserve it here. Please Alpha let us leave this place. We can ask the Luna in waiting for permission to take the girl with us." Alex told him.

" I will ask no one to take what is mine Alex." Maddox said sharply.

" Alpha we can not take her without permission from the pack she is born to, it is illegal you know this?" Alex said.

" And who is going to stop me Alex? The man child inside that house. I only wish he would try." Maddox told him , his eyes still Onyx.

" Alpha we..." Alex tried to protest again.

" Alex I understand that you are trying to get me out of this pack, I also know my mate needs help. I’m also aware that I should ask the leading pack members to take the girl. But if I see anyone from this pack, I will kill them, I will kill them all. I want the person responsible for this, and anyone that knew of it, and Alex I will kill everyone until I get the right ones." Maddox said angrily.

" Yes Alpha. I drove the SUV in until I couldn't so hopefully the night sky will give us cover until we are safely away with your mate." Alex told him knowing that Maddox would wipe this pack clean of the filth that resided here.

Maddox had been performing CPR on his mate all the while talking to Alex and planning a pack m******e. The boy was incredible, no one multitasked like he did. The girl suddenly coughed up water and drew in a deep breath though she didn't open her eyes.

"Ana, I need you to listen to me. Do not open your eyes ok."Aaliyah said.

" Okay but why?" Ana asked her wolf.

" I have been listening to our mate and his third. His name is Alex. He is trying to get our mate to leave and take us with them." Aaliyah started.

" Wait he came back?" She asked.

" Yes, I felt him as he got closer to the pack house right before I jumped out of the window from our cell?" Aaliyah started to explain.

" You jumped out of the window, thats how we got out. No wonder my leg hurts." Ana said.

" Yes, well I jumped out of the window, you jumped off into a deep ass lake knowing we can not swim." Aaliyah snapped.

" Why didn't we drown?" She asked.

" You know we can not. It will be uncomfortable but can not kill us. You know this already. Why you even tried, I do not know. To answer your question though, our mate went in after us pulling us out and giving us CPR." Aaliyah said.

" Oh." Ana muttered.

" Now listen to me Ana, Our mate needs to think we are not ok. He needs to leave here or he will wipeout our whole pack. He doesn't want us but the bond will not allow him to ignore the condition our body is in. He is so angry his Gamma is having to convince him that we need help more then he needs his vengeance. I am going to knock you out again. That way you will not let on we are okay even by mistake. Alright my sweet?" Aaliyah told her.

" Okay, but I am afraid to leave with them Aaliyah. I have heard the stories of his cruelty. What if he hurts us too like Darien did?" Ana said uncertainty.

" I will not allow us to be hurt like that again. It was necessary to allow Darien's abuse. I knew he could hurt us, but he could not kill us. Our mate on the other hand I am not certain he could not. I will keep watch over us while you are out. I promise I will protect us." Aaliyah said.

" Okay go ahead." She told her with a whiny voice , and with that Ana felt herself go deep into her own mind knocked out once again. She knew Aaliyah had done the same when she jumped in the lake so she wouldn't feel the pain from her wounds and the drowning.

Once the girl had coughed up the water and was breathing again Maddox picked her up into his arms.

" Alex lets go, where is the truck?" Maddox asked. Though still pissed off.

" Yes Alpha, its this way." He said standing and walking into the trees.

Maddox following the Gamma to the waiting SUV. When they arrived Alex opens the back door. Maddox climbing in with Ana still in his arms looks at Alex and says coldly.

" Get us the f**k out of here before I change my mind. Go straight to the airport. Call them and tell them we better be ready to take of when we pull up on the tarmac." He ordered.

" Already done Alpha, I did that when I was driving to the lake. I knew you'd want to leave quickly as pissed as you were when we left this shitty place the first time." Alex explained.

" Thank you Alex. Call them back and tell them that they have 30 minutes to get a pack doctor on board that plane. They can call any pack but this one understood?" Maddox said as he lowered his face into Ana's neck inhaling her sent trying to calm down. He didn’t want this bond with her, but her sent will still calm him, and he needed to calm the hell down before he took out another pack. Alex didn't answer his Alpha this time seeing in the mirror that the man was trying to calm himself, so he just picked up his phone and made the call. Now out of the woods Alex drove like a bat out of hell to get them clear of the packs territory. Goddess help whoever steps out in front of them, because he had his Alpha and Luna almost safely out of this place with no casualties, he wasn't stopping for s**t until he had them on that plane. Alex thought as he stepped on the excelerator even harder.
