I always go and spend my birthdays with my best friend Victoria. Tomorrow It'll be my 20th. Her family has been my absolute rock, I spend most my time with them. My biological family and I aren't very close at all. They barely even acknowledge I exist anymore other than the disgusted glares at me. Ever since our sister Avery was brutally murdered. I look at the screen ' Victoria ' I answer the phone "hey girl" "hey sis!! we need to talk about your birthday celebrations!!! you're still coming over right!" she says more telling me than asking. I finish applying my make up I don't usually wear a lot, my skin seems to be the only thing I can't hate. I'm naturally tanned with light blue eyes so I just put a little mascara on my top eyelaches and sparkle liquid liner very thinly on my eyelids. I grab all my things ready to leave when Nathan comes to stand at my door and has a face on him like his just bitten into a lemon and says ' ew look at the state of you slut. night out so you can shag every man around? you're disgusting ' he laughs an evil laugh and carries on to say '" Hopefully one of them kills you then we can all finally be happy mum and dad can't wait until you finally get the message and leave '" he then knocks some stuff off her white vanity table and walks off. She picks up the things from the floor and places them all back then notices her photo frame has been smashed. It was a picture of the all the family including Avery. " yeah, happy birthday to me '" she says to herself with tears creeping in her eyes. She puts the photo frame down and cleans up the glass hoping to distract herself so she doesn't actually cry from missing her sister. ' it'll all be ok Ellie don't you worry ' she hears in her head in her sisters voice. She stands up looks at the picture and blows a kiss to the picture of her sister and says " I love you ree " turning to finish packing her things. She use to call her sister that but only she was allowed to Avery hated anyone else using it. She would always be called ' Ellie ' back and no one else was allowed to and no one had since. Eloise checks the time on her phone and realises she's going to be late for her taxi if she's not quick. that bastard worm she thinks about her brother this is his fault. Eloise throws her phone on the bed and rushes around to gather all her belongings. She runs down the two sets of stairs. She lives in a 3 story house and she's on the top floor luckily hers is the only occupied bedroom up there the other one was her sisters. Just as her taxi looks like it's about to leave as quick as she can she jumps Infront of it completely careless of any danger. Nathan is watching from his window giving her daggers with a creepy look on his face. She looks up just as she's about to pull away and thinks ' if looks could kill I'd be dead 50 times over ' she then sits back and thinks of Oliver and all her bad feelings go away.
