“Hello aunt, of course, I’m fine,” I spoke as my aunt’s worried voice echoed through the phone.
It's been two days since I moved back to the city and she was calling to check up on me.
Although Aunt Serah had supported my decision to go back, she was equally worried about me as well.
“How are you aunt? Missing me already?” I teased her with a smile even though, I knew very well she wouldn’t admit to it, but I asked anyway.
“I’m fine, Alex. No, I am not missing you, I can finally have some rest from your troublesome self.” She joked. I could imagine her rolling her eyes at me.
“Well, I’m glad you’re finding it easy to survive without me, there’s no need for me to ever come back then,” I replied.
“Don’t you dare threaten me, child!” She warned.
