The sun shone brightly as I stood near a huge tree decorated with ribbons, they were Alex’s favorite colors.
The wind blew strands of hair across my face, and despite how bright the rays of the sun were, the atmosphere was cold.
I heard footsteps approaching and I smiled knowing it was Alex. She appeared, looking stunning in a white dress that seemed to float. She smiled at me in return and it warmed my heart.
I couldn’t believe we were finally doing it, it had been a dream of ours for years, and now, it was finally becoming a reality.
