Alex POV:
Weeks have gone by since my mum's husband asked her out of his mansion.
Mr. Deville was serious about Mum leaving his house and he ensured she left that night. He was so furious and wasn't ready to listen to anything mum had to say.
Although she never denied or accepted the claim to be true, she kept insisting Mr. Deville was crazy and inconsiderate for asking her to leave.
I left the Devilles mansion as well that night and moved into a hotel, against Owen's wish. Owen had offered to take me to his house, but I refused.
All his pleas fell on deaf ears as I just wanted to go someplace I wasn't known by anyone. I figured after Mr. Deville asked my mum out of his house, it would be shameful to be seen around his son.
