The rooms in the mansion were often filled with defeating silence. The whole house was. It had become this way since Celine and Alex left.
The only thing that ruined the quietness, was the buzzing from my phone.
I'd check to look at what was causing it to vibrate now and then, but every time I tried to do so, I only brought up my head looking disappointed. There were nothing but messages from Anna.
I had received a message from her father, a while ago, asking for a meeting. I had ignored his message, but I was well aware of the fact that I would need to face him sooner than later.
Especially if the father finds out about our breakup.
