Chapter 5: Dominic's POV

428 Words
Dominic's POV While I walked to my fathers off, I replayed the meeting between Alena and Alexandria. I sensed something that was throwing me for a major loop. I closed my eyes for a second and called out to Storm. While I waited for him to answer me, I went to my room to have the conversation with my wolf. "Storm, did you notice anything different about Alena just now?" I asked him. After a few moments, i felt him stirring. "Dom, my mate is awake. She has told me some things. But yes, i did notice something different. First, what i am about to tell you, might cause you to freak out. But remember, this is meant to help us and not hinder us." He said and i decided to stay quite. "Alena is not a beta, she might be by blood but by the moon goddess's wishes, she is not. Our sweet mate is the female Alpha that we have been told about happens in her family. I know you learned about how her great grandmother on her fathers side of the family. How she was a female alpha but her brother was the beta of their pack. From what i understood from Serena, Lucas's mother was the third born of the family and was mated to the previous pack beta. This means that Alena is not only our Luna but our equal in all ways. She is an alpha by rank. You can't reject her. If you do, then she will die. Serena said that the moon goddess has only given Alena one mate because of something that happens in about 1 year. She couldn't say what this will be. I don't think we will even get a second chance mate if we reject Alena." He stated and as soon as he did, i was frozen from shock. Alena wasn't something to take lightly, she is special. I need to do something to make sure she accepts me. "Storm, i understand and i won't be rejecting her. She is ours and we will make sure everyone knows. I promise you this." I stated and stood up. I decided to go tell my father that Alena was my mate and that i had known since the day i shifted. Though, i decided not to let him know that she was an Alpha and not a beta. I shook off the feeling that something was going to happen and left my room. 'i just hope Alena was ready for what was to come.' i thought to myself.
