Chapter 3-2

2002 Words

There was a lot of old clothes and pictures, none of which she recognised, but there was one picture for some reason caught her eye, it was of a man and there was a sadness in his eyes. Abigail found a cloth to dust the painting; the name on the painting was Douglas Taylor. Just looking at the painting made Abigail want to cry, he looked so sad; it was as if the painting was crying. She put the painting down and shook herself ‘don’t be silly’ she thought, being shut up in the attic is getting too her already. She started to rummage through some of the boxes, there was nothing there of particular interest, some old clothes, papers and books. Then she found some letters they were addressed to Mary Taylor and as Abigail started to read the letters she realised they were from her son Frazer.
