CHAPTER 6
Autumn 1998
All was well in Springfields once again. Robbie and Amelia were off on their honeymoon. Hope and Douglas were off to their new school and the parents of the village gave a sigh of relief as the school summer holidays finished, and peace reigned over their homes once again, with all the teenagers back to school. With the excitement of the last few months, no one had given Headley House or events that had transpired in Springfields a second thought.
Elisha was finally having a good relationship with Kathleen and although nothing had been said, Elisha knew Kathleen was grateful she held no malice toward Donald. Elisha felt the wedding brought the community together again and there was peace and love throughout the village.
