Arata and Yuki are, in real life, just two dirt-poor high school students with terrible grades, getting by on discounted fried chicken. But in the virtual world of Aethelgard, they are names that make the entire server tremble: “The Supreme One” and the “Thousand-Handed Fox” — supreme antagonists who lead the Organization to Erase Humanity. When real-world military forces enter the game for combat training with iron discipline, they quickly realize one thing:the logic of warfare does not apply to these two.3 a.m. assaults, irrational strategies, and “insane tricks” that defy every textbook have turned the battlefield into their personal playground. As global powers and even the entertainment industry begin hunting for their true identities, no one would ever guess that…they are just two students forced to put the game on hold to study for their exams. Can millions of soldiers overthrow the Dark Empire…or will they continue to be led by the nose by a snack-loving Fox and a “Supreme One” who hates spending money?

CHAPTER 1: THE LEGEND OF THE SUPREME BEING
The sky of Aethelgard had long since lost the boundary between day and night. It was drowned in a terrifying crimson glow—the color of blood mixed with hellfire. Black spatial cracks spread across the heavens like the eyes of death itself, staring down upon the battlefield below. There, the greatest alliance in human history had gathered. All races stood on the same front line. Ancient enemies. Former rivals. Complete strangers. Their one and only goal was clear: To destroy the being seated upon the Throne of White Bones at the peak of the Infinite Fortress. Leading the charge was the Goddess Clan. Their pure white wings shone with divine golden light, pushing back the darkness as if trying to cleanse the world itself. They were the strongest faction alive—the final hope of the server. Behind them stood the War God Clan, humanity’s elite. Clad in heavy armor and burning with murderous intent, humans in Aethelgard were known as living war machines. Every warrior possessed enough power to shake mountains. “O creatures of every realm! For the survival of this world—advance!” The roar of the Demi-Human commander thundered across the land. They were the largest army in existence. Earth Dragons, Snow Wolves, and countless beasts of the wild fought beside them. Their greatest weapon, however, was transformation. Each warrior could awaken their primal bloodline and become a raging monster of destruction. On the left flank, the Elven Clan whispered ancient spells. Every arrow they fired was forged from condensed natural elements. Their snipers could pierce a heart from miles away without missing once. At the rear stood the Dwarves. Though physically weaker than the others, they controlled the most terrifying magi-tech in the world. Giant war machines and mountain-shattering cannons hummed as they charged with power. And yet— Facing this alliance of millions of players and NPCs... Was only one faction. The Power of Destruction The faction of the male lead. The Supreme Being. Beneath his banner were no noble heroes, only creatures born from nightmares. He had founded the Anti-Humanity Eradication Organization during his spare time, with one simple rule: No human forms allowed. Anyone who joined had to be a monster. A rejected existence. A creature hated by the world. Because of that outrageous guild, the entire server had united to destroy him. Unfortunately for them... They were marching against a military genius. Below his throne stood the Seven Deadly Sins and the Three Primordial Demons. They were not mere high-level NPCs. They were living game-breaking disasters forged through thousands of wars under his command. Then— The Supreme Being slowly opened his eyes. One glance swept across the battlefield. Tens of thousands of charging players froze in place under an invisible pressure. He did not need to shout. He did not even need to move. His presence alone made space itself tremble. Massacres erupted everywhere like an unavoidable fate. The system broadcast rang through the world: [Warning: Any player killed in this Legion War will have their account permanently deleted.] Fear gripped every heart. Yet that only made the name of the Supreme Being spread even further. The developers had even declared: “Whoever defeats the Supreme Being shall bring Eternal Peace to the World.” Many had tried. Resources were gathered. Guilds were formed. Armies were raised. And every single one of them was crushed. As he lifted his hand to unleash the final strike that would erase the entire alliance— The Truth Behind the Door Click. The crimson battlefield vanished. The screams of demons disappeared. The explosions of magic fell silent. Arata opened his eyes. There was no throne. No kneeling demons. No ruined battlefield. Only a stained white ceiling. A creaking ceiling fan. And a cramped bedroom covered in textbooks and unfinished homework. He threw an arm over his face and let out a tired sigh. All that authority. All that fear. All that power... Existed only inside a game. Once he stepped out of the VR pod, he was not the Supreme Being. He was just an ordinary high school student who still had to go to school this morning. What Arata did not know— Was that his fame had already grown too large to remain inside a screen. Morning Chaos Sunlight passed through the city trees, but the streets were anything but peaceful. Arata walked through the crowd with a black backpack over one shoulder, eyes half-open from lack of sleep after last night’s server-wide war. As he passed the Shinjuku Broadcast Tower, he stopped. A giant LED screen was showing breaking news. “Special report on Aethelgard! The m******e at the Infinite Fortress has ended with catastrophic losses. The Great Justice Alliance has confirmed that two Level 99 players have had their accounts permanently deleted. Meanwhile, the Dark Faction lost four Level 99 Guardians. An anonymous member of the Anti-Humanity Eradication Organization has uploaded a challenge video: ‘If you think you're strong, come at us. We’ll take all of you. You pathetic players hide behind fake glory.’” The crowd erupted. “That Supreme Being lunatic has gone too far!” “I heard the message came directly from him!” “Professional gamers from other titles are already moving into Aethelgard to hunt him down!” Arata smirked faintly and raised his collar. He knew very well that message was not from him. One of his overexcited subordinates had clearly added fuel to the fire. Still, he had no intention of correcting them. The more chaotic the world became... The more entertaining the game was. That was the mindset of a true ruler. He continued toward school, leaving the storm of outrage behind him. Encounter in the Hallway At Teiko High School, Arata was an invisible background student. But the moment he stepped through the school gate, someone was already waiting. It was Yuki. Vice President of the Student Council. A famous beauty known for her elegance and sharp intelligence. To everyone else, she was a flawless honor student. Only Arata knew the truth. She was the Thousand-Handed Fox— One of the three strongest Demon Gods under his command. The only member of the organization allowed to keep a human form. And more importantly— She was his girlfriend. It had been Yuki’s idea to create a monster-only guild just to annoy the entire world. “Good morning, Master.” Yuki smiled sweetly as she linked her arm around his. Several male students nearly collapsed from jealousy. Arata flicked her forehead. “I told you to call me by my normal name at school.” “But I like this more.” She winked, then lowered her voice. “The challenge video this morning? I had someone upload it.” “The geniuses from other games are swarming in like ants.” “The bait has been cast.” “Is Phase Two of destroying the Justice Alliance ready, my love?” Arata looked into her amber eyes. There was no softness there. Only the cold intelligence of a demonic strategist. “Let them come,” he said calmly. “The more people die... the more valuable peace becomes.” “Tonight, we plan how to wipe out those professionals.” The two of them walked into class laughing like an ordinary teenage couple. No one could possibly imagine— That behind their casual talk about homework... They controlled a war machine capable of crushing the entire world. And anyone who challenged the throne of the Supreme Being... would soon learn despair.
