The Forbidden Alpha

Serani POV Stepping out of the bathroom, my mind couldn’t help but think that this is his bathroom, his bed, his home, something I never thought would happen. Considering, we never thought it would end up here this was a surprise to both of us, at least I would hope. For a second, doubt crossed my mind that he set everything up to get me to sleep with him after everything that happened, this was going on for about a month. So, maybe, he is the real deal but we were skeptical, my wolf and I. Are you finished, babe? The baritone in his voice made my pores raise and my pelvic explode, I heard his voice and I quivered at the memory of last night. Yes, almost. I was ashamed at the thought of him seeing my body even though he devoured every inch of it last night and I let him do it over and over again while marinating in every juice that expelled from his body. What was I supposed to do? He’s an Alpha and when he calls you answer. But my question is, I am not the type of girl he usually falls for so what does he really want? Does he have an ulterior motive? I wrapped myself up and clenched my towel as though he didn’t just see every crevice of my body the entire night. On opening the door I saw the smirk on his face because he knew he made me shy. He brushed past me very gently and I could smell the musk of his wolf penetrate my nostrils and make its way into my bloodstream and I wanted more of him and he knew it. He looked back and grabbed me by my waist and she took over with low, rumbling growls she wanted to rip him to shreds in passion but I couldn’t allow it. I pushed him away and reminded him that time was our enemy and we both had things to do and very important business to take care of, at least I did. His shirt buttoned just far enough that I can see the sink in between his chiseled chest, I wanted my mouth to be the collar that so gently rested on his neck. God, he was sexy, the look of a Greek god, the sculpted frame, the smile that closed his eyes involuntarily and hands that made you feel safe with every touch but made you wet every time he passed it anywhere along your body. Suddenly, a knock on the door broke me out of the s****l prison I was in the entire morning. He looked at me and I knew without him saying it, that I should not leave the confines of the bedroom. He closed the door behind him and I could hear indistinct arguing and I couldn’t help but think it was about me. The voice started becoming clearer and clearer as though they were getting closer to the bedroom door. I recognized the voice, that loud, bass that would make anyone freeze in their tracks, it was Arion, my father’s Beta. I was supposed to be promised to him, but I can’t help who my she wolf calls for. For Arion to become Alpha when my father steps down we must be married, but Arion has never cared about anyone but himself. He has only gained my father’s trust for his own personal benefit of one day becoming the head of the pack. Was he looking for me? That’s a stupid question, I knew he was but was Ren going to allow him to find what he was looking for? Was he going to defend me if he did? Because, if Arion finds out what I did I’d be dead by the morning and my father would be looking on at my execution waiting to give one of my little sisters to Arion and that was never going to happen on my watch. How could I convince my father to rid 500 years of tradition and make a woman the Alpha of the pack. RENALDI’S POV The night we just had; my wolf could not get her out of his system. God, she felt good. I just kept wanting to take her apart again and again but the break of dawn signaled us that the fairy tale we lived in last was over and no one could ever know about us. She was already promised to that a**hole, Arion. The very thought of it made me cringe. He was no match for me but without my pack I could never face him, his pack would tear me to shreds. I wanted to own her, to know her, to be in her thoughts no matter what she was doing, that I would consume her every being. The stench was overpowering, wasn’t she smelling that disgusting odor of wet grass and mud? It was him and he came to claim her and I wasn’t about to let him. He followed her scent, but I didn’t want her to panic or worry. I already saw the look on her face as I stood in the mirror dressing, and as I stole looks from time to time, all I could think about is that I can never see her mating with anyone else but me. She was mine and we are mates and I would rather let Alpha Kirk and Arion skin my wolf alive and rip out my heart before I allow Arion to marry her for his own selfish purposes. The knock on the door solidified everything my wolf was signaling to me, immediately he took over and he didn’t like being disturbed in house domain. She still had no clue who it was but I can tell she knew that danger was ensuing. I knew that I had to protect her at all costs. It was only one night but I knew her a lifetime and I’ve been longing for this day from the moment I met her. I opened the door to see Arion wet, drenched in rain and outraged. His fists curled so tightly; every being that ran through his arms meet at the point where his thumbs curled over his fingers. Where is she? He pushed past the door that was half opened looking for her I can smell her you know? I will be courteous and ask one more time but that will be the last time before I tear this place apart, WHERE IS SHE? His wolf emanating at this point. In released a dominant growl and looked him in the eye, you think you can barge in here and make demands? I am not a part of your pack and I am not required to answer you or do your bidding so why don’t you get the hell out of my face and my house. I tried so hard to keep my cool but just knowing she might be in danger had my wolf on edge. Listen, you pack reject. You may think that you can still gain the respect of your pack and your father, but that ship has sailed. You will never become Alpha I don’t care if it is your right or in your blood. Your pack has deemed you a disgrace once and watch as they do it again when I carry you to Kirk to be sentenced to death for kidnapping his daughter and everyone turns their back on you. His words resonated through my brain and the thought of my father fully disowning me threw me off, all I ever wanted was his respect and I’m finally getting there. My pride and short temper made him turn his back on me once and now I may be next in line for Alpha of the pack but that will do no good unless he approves and I have been thinking of ways to regain his trust and respect ever since I left 6 years ago.
